I generally only answer Macintosh related questions, as I loathe Microsoft Windows. I had used PCs for ten years before switching to Mac, so I know what I'm talking about. I've spent the last few years becoming a Mac guru and I enjoy helping fellow switchers realize the full potential of their new Macintosh. Don't try to convince me that PCs are better, I've been there and done that. I used to be a PC fanboy, but no longer.

  • How do I fix the tuning on my Fender Squier?

I'm having the 12th fret problem where the higher I go up the fretboard, the more out of tune the notes become. I've read a few articles about adjusting the intonation, but it doesn't seem to be working well enough. I have the B and high E strings saddle's as far towards the neck as they will go, but the notes are still flat. On some of the lower strings, I have the saddles as far towards the tail as they will go, but the notes are a little above tune. Before I started adjusting things, I had the springs in the back completely tight so that the guitar would be more like a hard tail than a tremolo. I loosened them back up, but still no relief. What am I doing wrong?

  • How much is my injury worth?

So far, I'm told by an orthopedic specialist that I have a compression fracture in my lower spine. The cause was an auto accident. I was a trucker with Schneider National. I drove as a team with another driver. I was asleep in the bunk, as my partner was driving, when a pickup truck went left of center and hit us nearly head on. We were both traveling at 65 MPH. We managed to escape before our semi burned to the ground in a matter of minutes. Two of the four occupants in the pickup truck were killed. We lost all of our personal property in the semi, of which $3,000 worth was mine. The other party only carried a $20,000 auto insurance policy, both property and bodily injury. Schneider National is taking most of it with a $150,000 claim. I currently have a worker's comp. attorney, but I don't have any idea what sort of settlement will be reached at this point. My back pain has been consistent for the past 6 months and seems to be worsening.
