I recently got a SCT SF3 programmer for my truck(2001 ford f-250 5.4 gas) and have an aftermarket exhaust on the way, I was thinking about getting a bigger throttle body and a K&N cold air kit, would I get a noticeable difference over what I've already done to the truck?

  • Would this compressor be big enough?

I'm installing an air horn on my truck later this week and have the horn itself picked out and have a tank, i'm just trying to decide on a compressor, I've got a Viair 280c in mind but I'm not sure if it's big enough, my tank is about 3.25 gallons and will only need filling once a day from 90 to 110 PSI. would the 280c be big enough to do this?

  • going a different route with my mustang?

I was going to go with an e303 camshaft, ford aluminium gt-40 heads, edelbrock 1406 carb, bbk shortie headers, offroad x-pipe and flowmaster 40 series mufflers with turndowns, now I'm going with the same carb and exhaust but am considering an edelbrock 2091 top-end kit instead of the e303 and gt-40 heads, would i be able to expect similar hp numbers out of this set up as opposed to the e303 and gt-40s?

  • Question about part compatibility?

I've got a 1994 Ford F-150 with a 5.8l engine and i want to do a custom cold air setup but because the stock engine has a dual venturi throttle body on it i'd have to buy twice the piping and 2 filters and i don't want to do that. if my truck was mass air it'd have a "Y" pipe to go from the 2 venturies on the throttle body to one pipe that goes to the mass air sensor and then on to the stock air box. I found that part that the seller on ebay says came off a 6 cylinder truck and wanted to know if that'd be the same part. if it helps here's a link to the listing
