One of my closest friend is having an arranged marriage and her fiancee has, over the last few months asked her to exercise more, eat less chocolates, wake up earlier, become more responsible, more independent, study more, dress in western clothes all the time. He seems sweet and caring otherwise but he constantly demands that she change herself. He has also decided where they will live, settle, raise their kids etc. Is this normal? I have no idea if this can be considered normal or just a phase so had no advice to give her but it did get me thinking.

What do you think? Too controlling or passable?

I am so eager to get this phone-I can ask somebody to get it from either London or the States, will the phone work here in India. Thanks in advance.

My jewelery is glamourous and will work best for formal, semi formal occasions. I aim at selling to women between 25-45. The designs are funky, innovative and stylish.

My designs are mostly western but I use rich indian fabrics.I feel they will appeal to the clientele there since it is relatively unfound.I am not designing run of the mill garments but glamourous,detailed outfits.

I am paranoid about selling in India because designs get copies very fast(I was retailing at boutiques in delhi but have stopped ever since my designs were being copies)

Any input will be helpful.

I am 23 yrs old,and find it very diffcult to say no. please help me get out of this.I need help and I have no one to talk to.
