I was wondering how much these new machines cost the state of NJ. We can check our ticket, it scans and tells us if we won. Than we bring our ticket to the retailer and he has to scan it again and remit payment. Something is wrong here in my opinion. Why has the state wasted money on a machine that tells us the same thing the retailer tells us. It doesnt make sense. Has anyone used these. If it was like an atm it would be fine but it seems to me that it is a big waste of money

I add a party of 10 come into my job (restaurant) to dine. They were from germany and were treated with my best service. They stayed past closing, but ate well and seemed very satisfied. You can imagine my surprise when I received a 6.00 tip on a 115.00 check. This has happened before when I have served people traveling from abroad. Dont they check to see what is the proper tipping in other countries. It really ticked me off because I had to stay late to clean up and vaccuum and I thought it was in poor taste.

Maybe if the illegals can finally stop coming in they wont spread this flu which started in mexico and now is in texas and california. People live differently there and probably are not up to date on any shots like we have here, but yet they still come into our country for a few thousand dollars. This flu will go right from mexico through texas california and right up the coast. Believe it or not illegals are still cooking foods in the kitchens you eat in at restaurants all the time. Why doesnt the government go after the people that hire and pay these people under the table instead of the illegals. It doesnt make sense to me After 911 you would think the borders r safe but believe me they are not. People come through all the time at a cost of course. And they r washing your dishes and cooking your foods. Cheap pay by who else ?? think about it

I thought patrons should tip on the entire bill which includes serving of alcohol. A friend of mine says she only tips on the food before tax. I always thought that the waittress not only pays her busboy 10-15 percent but also her bartender 3 percent. I always pay 20 percent of the bill including the cost of my alcohol drinks. Anyone else with me
