I feel like the world is crushing me and I can't figure out what to do ..I am expecting my daughter and her rude boyfriend for thanksgiving dinner. She called her grandmother to announce her BF doesn't like what I am serving and wants steak. Groceries are bought but mom in law bought the steak with out telling me and now I have to not only put up with him but am expected to make a seperate meal. I feel like this isn't even my home and no support from family. What do I do?

I have been told I need Knee replacement due to an injury, does anyone know a ball park figure I am looking at. I make too much to get lower medical help. S

I am in search of my grandfathers relatives. I believe grandad is from the Portland, Maine area

Does anyone know of a site that shows MicMaq or Passamaquoddy leaders? Both my grandfathers were either MicMaq or Passamaqoddy each being full Native. I would like to have a tattoo honoring both grandfathers as in my family history we were not to talk about the Native American side. Sadly I lost both sets of grandparents before my true intrest in my background was allowed to be talked about. Any help will be appreciated.

DEMONS WITH IN

With in her world, so dark and deep,

She shuts it out, no one to hear her weep

Here she hungers for the pain to end,

The sorrow, sadness, the hole to mend,

Deep, deep down, with in herself she hides,

Carrying emotions, what a rollercoaster ride,

No one sees the feelings when they take a look,

She keeps them guarded, they're a mystery book,

The infant helpless, the child craves love,

The adult seeks everything, keeping faith above,

The infant carressed, the child taught pain,

The adult to remember it over and over again,

To put a painful past to rest,

The adult must face the Demons best,

Accept, confront, battle and beat,

All the Demons her conscious meets,

Face them with a brave heart so true,

Hold them back, til the dragons are slain through

My Land

This was my Land when it was new

I was born here long before you

This land was untouched but by the Spirits above

Our fathers taught us to respect it, they taught us to love

Settlers came, it became their land too

My land was no longer as it was once before

Beautiful, untouched, all I saw was the scars it wore

This used to be my land when it was new

My people reluctantly agreed to share it with you

Settlers changed it the day they moved in

Wanted to keep it for themselves, start a war and win

They made a promise, to my people who believed

Guardian Angel

She comes to you on silent wings

Where most angels fear to tread

With a loving heart so golden

Touching souls of fragile thread

She listens with a caring heart

She sees with a gentle soul

Her smile warm as the morning sunshine

To fill the hearts deepest hole

A happy face to those she greets

Guardian angel, who was placed on Earth

Into light you draw them, away from the dark

To feel at this moment, someone has worth!

Today I learned I'm not as I once was before

I am not able to do some things I like any more

My life will change with each passing day

So will yours as I adjust to my new ways

A disability is some times hard to take

It effects the person and their loved ones in its wake

Will you stand by me if I no longer can walk?

Will you be my lips if my voice ceases to talk?

Will you be the eyes if mine no longer see?

Or will you give up and walk away from me?

If my hear becomes weak, and I can barely hear you,

Will you learn to sign, show me pictures, speak louder too?

If I loose a limb, will you look at me in shame,

Will you shake your head and look for someone to blame?

If they say my brain will never never work right,

Will you lower your head, sneak away at night?

Will you give me a genuine smile, gently take my hand,

Praise me for my hard work all that my body will demand?

Will you let me give up and want it to end?

Or will you guide me, love me, and just be my friend?

TOMORROW

A time where challenges are met and hurdles are over come one step at a time

Where time holds no threat and words like "I can't" are met head on with " I'll try anything once, twice if I like it."

I'll remember to never give up on a truely good thing....

To give up on myself is to never really start working on my self in the begining..

I have been experiencing short sharp pains near my sternum for the past few weeks, I am light headed and get out of breath a lot. I find myself getting tired alot. The sharp pains come and go and last about 2-5 minutes and hurt 2-8 on a pain scale. My doc is sending for a stress test but I am still worried. Could this be related to my Asthma?

My daughter wants to know where she can find information on this loan.

was a young teen, he's 21 now. I know about the cysts he has on his kidneys and I watched as his father died at 47 from lack of caring about his disease as he heavily drank and smoked. Justin does none of this. Is there anyone out there who has this too? I would like to hear from others.

I can not find answers to the following symptoms from my doc. Excessive quick weight gain in past 6 months, belly looks like I am 6 months pregnant, extreme pain in lower abdomen, lots of gas, fatigue, tingling in fingers and toes, and heart burn quite often. any help?
