1 AnswerChemistry1 decade agoNissan pickup- revving engine on its own?
It's a 1982 4WD, 4 cylinder, standard, and has a carburator that loves to give me trouble.
Recently, it has started revving into the red, while idling, or accelerating on it's own while driving. I stuck a new battery in there which helped alot, but it still tries to do it. I can stop it by putting the clutch in, or killing the engine. Any thoughts?

I have been in gymnastics for about 2 years, for 1 hr. a week. I Have a obsession for the Iron Cross, but it is slow going practicing once a week. I would like suggestions for things I can do at home w/out rings to help.
