Correct me if I'm wrong, but if you have an amount of Carbon-14, it will decay at a constant rate. How can someone determine the age of something without knowing the starting amount of Carbon-14? If they are just guessing at the starting amount, by the transitive property wouldn't they just be guessing the age?

I guess, I just have a thing with even numbers. I don't like odd numbers, they are just so impractical sometimes. I also don't like pennies, or other small change. You all can answer this if you want, it's just something to even out my score.

she's 15 months older than me, she's got hearing problems and she's anemic, she's 17 w/ the inteligence/maturity level of an 7-8 year old. She has always been the center of attention due to this, and she always has to whine about something. When she doesn't get her way, she whines, gripes, and complains until she does (example:if i were to ride uprfront to the store, 10 mins. max, she'd turn it into an hour long argument). My mom has even threatened to make her move in with my dad(my parents are divorced). My oldest sister (20) is at college now, and can't stand to be around her for any length of time (she's been so stressed she's even had wrecks because she can't concentrate,and also has had athsma attacks). I can't take it anymore, (i could go live with my dad, but only as a last resort,I'm a bit of a mamma's boy anyway) i don't know what to do, any suggestions?(didn't know what to categorize it as,that may be another thing i need to know.)
