  • problems with my RAM and power supply?

i have a pre-owned puter that i got recently to replace an old one. i needed more ram, so i figured i'd crack open my old one and put the ram into the new one. well, the sticks won't fit. the little notch on it doesn't line up right or something, and i can't see in there well enough to know exactly. am i doing something wrong? or is it just that my puter is only set to use specific sticks? also, i think the power supply is shot, it shut down fine the last time it was used, but it won't turn on now. i've switched plugs and cords and everything, and nothing seems to work. is there a simple test i can do to see if it's that? (without taking out that power supply and putting in my old one)

  • banks accepting payments on closed accounts?

i had a bank account forceably closed, but i still had my direct deposits going into the account. i told payroll that i needed my actual paychecks, but they said it'd be 2 weeks before the system recognized it, so 2 weekly paychecks still went in, after the account was closed. i called the bank manager and asked him if he had recieved the monies, and he initially denied it, then conveniently found the record of the payment being recieved. he said that they were accepted as payment on the closed account, but last i checked, banks can't tell you what to pay with your money, or accept money for an account that has been closed. i mean, where would the money go if the account didn't exist due to closure? i don't get it.....also, the ending balance of the account and the amount from the collection agency is the same, so there is no 'credit' to my account. what can i do?

  • Do I count as lesbian now?

I have pretty much always been bisexual, and I was married to a man. Well, now I'm not married to him anymore, and I am living with the most perfect woman in the world. If i had the means I would marry her tomorrow, and she feels the same way. I am still visually attracted to men, but not sexually at all, I don't feel the desire at all to be with one, or another woman, for that matter, I found my soulmate, and am the happiest little woman on the planet. So does that make me a lesbian now? I know, I shouldn't be concerned with titles, but my ex tried using it as a deterrent on the relationship with her. Just wondering.....
