  • How's Yosemite Natl Park at this time of the year?

My husband and I were planning to go to Las Vegas. However, I changed my mind because I don't really know what show we are going to see there this time. He thinks of going to Yosemite National Park, but I read on the National Park website that by this time the falls are quite dry. Another reason is the recent fire in there. Is it worth the visit even though the falls are quite dry?

  • What Vacation Would You Choose?

If you have been given a choice, what would you prefer?

    A) A weeklong vacation to Hawaii?

    or

    B) A two weeklong trip visiting historic and beautiful spots across the USA (well, from New York City, Statue of Liberty, Niagara Falls, Chicago, Mall of America, Grand Teton, Yellowstone National Park, Mt. Rushmore National Park, Zion National Park etc)... before going back to CA?

  • How convenient is the Metrorail in Washington D.C.?

My husband & I are going to Washington D.C. and we read on trip reviews that it is better to take the Metrorail in touring D.C.. Our hotel is in Arlington, Virginia (Hyatt Regency Crystal City), so I am worried if taking the Metro is really the best option to see the sights in D.C.

Thank you in advance for your responses.

  • Not a Question, but a Thought....?

To the lovely people of Palm Springs, CA, especially the pet lovers I met while we were there last weekend; THANK YOU!

I love dogs, and we have 3 of our own. Going to your city where pets could be in any restaurant or stores made me wish I live in your city!

Every time a see any dogs being abandoned on the streets, especially the old ones made me so mad at those people who did it! I wish those people who did it will live on the street someday, so that they will know how it feels to be abandoned!

To see the other side of reality, people lavishing affection and care to their pets made me so happy that I want you all pet lovers to know, someone out there, appreciate and admire what you do to your pets.

From our own; Mickey, Nemo, and Jasmine.....we all say a HUGE, "THANK YOU SO!"
