This guy at work, he told me that he has been dying to have some fun and wanted to go to the casino, I said...Oooh, me too! He says Friday after work? I'll drive? I said...sure, that sounds like a plan! Then he calls me at 7:30 that he is giving someone a ride home from the hospital, going home to get ready, and then he'll call. That was um....4 hours ago...should I call him? Im kind mad right now, is it even right for me to call him? I havent dated in years, Im so confused!

Ok, bear with me here:

I have att phone, my boss TDS. She forwards the calls to me at night to answer. Last night, everything was fine, but today when she forwarded them to me, she called and then another person tried to call and got a busy signal, so the call waiting is not working now. I have called both phone companies and they both say that there is nothing they can do! HELP!

Ok, Im getting old, but even at walmart.com I couldnt find their ad for after Christmas! Can anyone help...Im all ready to go shopping in the morning!

My friend has a 15 year old daughter who just went to an appeal hearing for SSI last week. The doctor that testified said she is disabled because of severe mood disorders. Her attorney said it looks like a win to him! How long will they have to wait for a decision on that? Will She be entitled to back pay from 2004 when they applied? And does anyone know how much a month she would get? If it matters, the mother only gets $600.00/month income!

I volunteer at our local High School for the Competitive Cheerleading program. One of our 2007 Grads got accepted to Ferris State University. Her parents wont help pay for it because they want her to attend a community college. She is a great girl, who wasnt eligible for grants because her parents make to much money. We need to raise $4,500.00 by Wednesday to get her in for this semester! Any ideas?

She cannot get a loan because she doesnt have a co signer, we really need fundraising ideas!

My daughter is 15 1/2 . Her dad moved to TN from MI a few months back and promised he would come and get her for the summer. Well, we never heard from him again until last week when he took me to court to get his child support lowered. When he walked in my daughter asked him what happend to him and why he didnt pick her up. he started yelling at her that she is nothing but trouble and he dont have time for that, he has a son to raise. After another man sitting in the room told him that was enough and not to disrepect his child like that, he tried to pretend like nothing happend. On the way out he tried to give her a hug and ask if she was going to be somewhere where he could contact her...I butted in and just said to my daughter...DONT~! Should I have? I dont think he has a right to hurt her with his words.

Today I passed a house decked out with pink balloons, ribbons, etc. With signs that said...Honk For Grandma, she is gone home to be with her maker! And, Grandma's Gone but in our hearts! I was....surprised I guess, I dont even know what I was...I have never seen anyone do that kind of thing before!

I know everyone makes some sort of donation for one reason or another. But...I just started a cheerleading program at The Boy's And Girl's Club in my city, and we need to raise funds for stuff....So I ask, is a dollar too much to seek for a donation? Or, how should I raise funds to start it? All suggestions appreciated!!

For instance: When I go to the gas station, 9 out of 10 times someone is pumping gas with their boomin goin so loud ...why? Does it make you .."Cool"??

I mean like stickers, pens, magnets, toothbrushes, etc. BESIDES calling around, I am looking for web links to sites.

Serious question that I was asked by a child. We dont have a college fund just for white people, we dont have white history month, and the only white peoples birthday that are a holiday are all presidents! So, why? and no this is not meant to spark a racial debate!

She cant seem to jump high enough and get her legs in front of her, is there a trick she can use or something that she can practice that might help?
