  • Running up the score?

This is obviously asked a lot, but I feel the need to ask another one, get over it.

Patriots accused of running the score up and not being classy, right? Some of the biggest run ups...47-27, 48-29, 52-7, 56-10, 38-7.

Did anyone call the Colts out for not being classy when they did this: 49-10, 41-9, 41-10, 51-24, 49-24. Back in 2004? As far as I remember, people just said "Damn that's a good team."

    Somebody explain.

  • Brett Favre?

Does anyone still think he's too old and should retire? It seemed like a majority opinion before, so is anyone going to question him if he comes back for another season after being voted the starter for the NFC in the Pro Bowl and leading his team to a possible 14-2 season?

  • Activities for children?

I'm a volunteer at a homeless shelter. I help occupy kids for a few hours every Monday afternoon to give the parents time to do things (all of them are ages 3-5 currently) and I'm running low on ideas.

So the question would be obvious: Does anyone have any fun ideas for kids to take up an hour or two?

  • Carolina Panthers in Haiku?

    Carolina Panthers -By Carolina Kitten

    Losing is their art

When they play at home, they suck

    And on the road, too

Anyone have a Haiku about your team? Is this one right on target?

  • Three reasons why tonight's game is worth watching?

Sorry, I couldn't think of one...can you? This game doesn't seem worth wasting three hours on...and I usually watch any game that's on Monday Night Football.

Given what the Jets did to the Steelers, does anyone think Miami can get their first win again them with Ricky Williams back? (He's playing right?)

  • I've just gotta ask this. (Patriots question)?

Yes, yes, the Patriots only won by three points and people are saying they were overrated this whole time....well, the last and only other team to go undefeated for a season had a few scares like this and people still consider that team to be one of the best of all time, right? And now, the Patriots are working under a salary cap and built a team that can not only survive a scare but also blow out most of the teams on their schedule.

So for all of you people who suddenly feel the need to call them overrated....why are you thinking? They're still 11-0...The 1985 Bears lost to the Dolphins after blowing everyone away and to this day, everyone considers THEM one of the best teams of all time too...what justification do you have for saying anything about the Patriots right now? We say it all the time, everyone has a bad day...well they had one, and they still won the game..

  • Hawaii Warriors, BCS?

Now that they hushed the Boise State offense and threw 39 points at them, does anyone still think they don't deserve a BCS Bowl game?

I agree, their schedule was pathetic this year, but with how many points they put up and how well their defense played against Boise, I think they could beat some of those top teams at least as well as Boise State did last year..

Do you think they'll get a BCS Bowl? Do they deserve one? Why or Why not?

  • Atlanta at home over Indianapolis?

It's a natural response to pick Indy to beat a team like Atlanta...but should it be?

Indianapolis looks like a Night of the Living Dead movie recently...only instead of zombies, everyone is on the injuries list...Atlanta is fairly healthy and probably hungry for a prime time victory over the Colts....with Joey Harrington...Indy barely beat Kansas City...I can't see them doing much better against Atlanta, to be honest.

Everyone said I was crazy when I picked Cleveland back in Week 4 to beat Baltimore (who everyone thought was going to kill them...I guess not.)

So why exactly do you think Indy is going to roll over Atlanta given that Manning has 3 TDs and 8 INTs in the last three games with nobody to throw to? (And still probably wont have anyone to throw to tomorrow.)

  • Travis Beckum & Jack Ikegwuonu?

    Beckum TE/WR for the Badgers

Jack Ikegwuonu CB for the Badgers

It's not clear yet on Beckum, but Jack will be in the draft. The team was down this year and it's understandable that they might not be 1st round picks, but nobody even has them in 2nd round projections of mock drafts.

Do you think they could be taken first day? (Rounds 1-2)...Because as a Badger fan, I want to make sure I'm not a little biased here...they both have great talent.

  • What is harder to watch?

Carolina trying to convert a 3rd down?

Miami trying to win a game?

Kansas City trying to throw the ball?

    Baltimore's bad offensive calls?

    Britney Spears music videos?

    Yay! I'm pre-approved...

How exactly do you get them to stop sending these offers? If I kept them all, I probably could build a house out of them...

    Is there a way?

  • A shoulder to cry on?

Oh poor poor Colts....I feel so terrible that you are all crying. It almost breaks my heart...but what really breaks my heart is David Carr playing QB.

Now, will you all please stop the excuses or insane thoughts of the Patriots not being the better team.THEY FINISHED THE GAME! That makes them better...

And Pats fans. Your team has free range to go 16-0 if they play all of their starters...isn't that enough? Can you please be quiet and let them do it?

    Comments? Anyone agree?

  • WR issues for Week 9?

Marvin Harrison is giving me fits this year...I have Harrison, Randy Moss, and Laveranues Coles on my team, two of them might not play on sunday...It looks grim...

Given Moss being the starter I need two others. The backups on my team are:

    Roddy White vs San Fran

    Ronald Curry vs Houston

    Patrick Crayton vs Philly

Joe Jurevicius, James Jones, Bobby Engram, and Vincent Jackson are probably the best free agents right now.

Any suggestions on the two guys to start if Coles and Harrison are no-go's?

  • Car trouble?

1995 Camry, can't get it checked at AutoZone.

    - Idles high (Normal is 800 but it idles at 1200 in drive and 2200 in park)

    - Hesitates from stops

    - Often does not start when it is warm

    - Doesn't get much power when trying to accel from 45-55

    - Sometimes idles normally for short periods of time (about a minute) before idling high again

Please if you have any idea, let me know, this problem is killing me...

  • Patriots @ Colts? (Winner...no BS)?

Look...no BS here...say who you think will win..no extra bull.

I want you all to answer this because I want to know who is going to be laughed at after a week of saying "Colts are gonna kill 'em!!" or "Pats can't be stopped they are gods!"...somebody is going to be wrong...so I advise the fans of these two teams to just "shhhh" for a few days before you make fools of yourselves...

Alright...? Now I don't care either way, this game doesn't affect me at all...

  • Here's a dumb question?

Should the NFC be allowed to use their Pro Bowl team in the Super Bowl against the Pats or Colts?

Would that level the playing field?

  • Chorionic villus sampling question?

Wikipedia didn't explain it at all...I can't find it in my text book and I have an exam coming up.

Can anyone explain to me, or summarize, exactly what this procedure is and how it is performed?

  • Can we anoint Tom Brady as the MVP yet?

People kept saying "It's too early to tell" or giving a lame argument for LaDainian Tomlinson or Peyton Manning....look, Brady has 11 TDs in the last two games alone...27 on the season puts him on pace to break Manning's record...he's easily going to get over 40 TDs pending an injury to him or one of those two top receivers (Moss and Welker).

Is anyone still willing to argue for somebody else?

    (No, I'm not a Patriots fan...clearly)

  • Future of the NFL?

We know Brett Favre, Dan Marino, Jerry Rice, Barry Sanders, Gale Sayers, Dick Butkus, Bart Starr, Warren Moon...and the list goes on.

This generation of football has Brian Urlacher, Payton Manning, Tom Brady, TO, Randy Moss...ect.

Who are going to be the big faces and names of the next generation? Honestly the only guys, at least right now, that look like they'll last are Adrian Peterson and Vince Young....who else might you consider to be a guy to fit into the category of greatness and remembrance for the next 10 years?
