My dealer said your 1gb (512 * 2) ram failed, but the bigger problem started when we tried to replace with new ram. My notebook is now accepting only 512 single dimm on either side. Its not accepting 1gb single dimm also. (sdram ddr1). What is the solution if i want to upgrade till 2gb
