My almost 2 year old gets sick when we go for trips that last longer than a half hour. Does anyone know of any home remidies I can give him, or anything else you might of heard of? I call his pediatritian today and they told me to give him childrens Benadryl. They said all it does is take the edge off and make him sleepy so that he might not get sick. Has anyone heard of this or given their toddler Benadryl for car sickness? Let me know what you think and if you have any better ideas.

My daughter has always had issues with constipation. Now she is potty (pee) trained, I have yet to master the pooping in the potty. I have got her to poop on the potty about 5 different times. She at first seems scared then she gets excited. The time I can't get her to go on the potty she going in her undies in the middle of the night. I wonder if her long time problem with constipation is causing her to not want to go on the potty. Does anyone know a way to get my daughter to go during the day so that I can get her on the potty to go? She seems to be in a routine to poop in the middle of the night. I need advise in how to change her routine. Thanks alot everyone!!

  • My 3 year old daughter and pooping???

My daughter is completley potty trained going pee. When it comes to pooping on the potty the does all that she can to hold it in, she has gone a few times on the potty. When ever it looked like she was gong to poop last night I took her to the potty, then all she did was hold it until she when to bed (she pooped sometime in the middle of the night). Then this morning I when to wipe her hiney with a wipe and she skreeched and started to cry. I looked at her but hole and it was raw and looked very sore. When she was a baby she had problems pooping and one time whe she was like a 1 1/2 years old she got so constipated her littel hole got a rip in it, I took her to the doctor and she prescribed her with a cream. Well I have the cream still so I put that on her. It seems to be working. I need to know if there is anything I should do. If it don't feel beter tomorrow I am going to call her doctors office. Has anyone had this problem with there toddler while trying to potty train?

  • 3 year old thowing up!?

My daugter was sick all day tues., Weds. she was sick half the day and Thurs. and Fri. she was only sick in the morning a couple times. Sat. and Sun. she was fine all day then this morning (Mon) she threw up once. She has been fine all day. Is this a common flu symptom, to be sick like this on and off? I wonder if she is getting sick because of the food we are giving her. Maybe she still has a touch of the flew and if we give her something that upsets her tummy it will make her thow up. Does that make since or should I be more worried about it. Has anyone else experienced this with your child? Have any other suggestions of what else it might be, or do you think I hit it on the nose with the food thing?
