Is there a FREE way to convert my dvd movies to my ipod touch? All I find is software that is $30 or more? Any suggestions?

When I was a kid, I had a fisher-price book. I cant find it in any store I go to and I can not remember the name of it. but it is about safety. parts of the book say, look both ways before crossing the street, dont get in the car with strangers, eat your veggies, there is a page with a refrigerator on it with the foods talking to you, I think there is a page about grocery shopping. If any of you know of this book please let me know and give the name. It should be anywhere from 1989-1996. Thanks all!
