In Sydney, is the sunrise visible between the North and South heads from any place in North Sydney?
Or is it always obscured by the North Head (that is, never rises directly over the ocean horizon)

Is there a location in Sydney's North Shore that provides an unobstructed (i.e. no land masses in the way) view of the sun rising on the ocean's horizon?

11 AnswersPhilosophy1 decade agoHELP! Need to rescue a ruined caramel slice?
Hi, need help please...tried to make a large caramel slice for a dinner party tonight. Made the base right, but didn't cook the caramel on the stovetop for very long and...forgot to bake it afterwards. Already melted the chocolate and put it on the top, and left it overnight in the fridge. Now the base and chocolate look great but the caramel is still runny, it barely holds together straight out of the fridge and it melts quickly at room temperature. The chocolate is all fractured as well. Granted this thing's probably lost it, but we don't have a dessert for tonight and there's a lot of stuff in here. Can we used this ruined stuff in another recipe, preferably one served warm? Just that all this crumbs and caramel and chocolate is going to go to waste.
4 AnswersCooking & Recipes1 decade agoWhat is this place on Parramatta Road in Sydney?
There's this corner place with no signage, windows obscured by curtains, all there is is a bright neon sign saying "Open", but no other words whatsoever. It's on Parramatta Road in Sydney, I think around Ashfield area. What the heck is it? It's been there for ages. Too scared to go in.

No, really. I'm terrified. He calls me at night. I hear him howl in my dreams. His teeth, I sharpen with my eyeballs. I scream - but there is no end to the pain, no hope in the twilight, no relief from the suffering. I hunger.

Because I have the points, I am a fanboy, and I enjoy gloating.
Sorry. Flow kicks serious behind, though.

A gaming "moment" is a rare point in a game which makes you sit back and go, "Wow" - when Aeris dies, when Kirby releases the Nightmare, when you're first surprised by a pink demon in Doom. What's the greatest experience a game producer has yet created?
