Hello from my smelly room in London, UK. --- * Joined Y!Answers in 2006. Started contributing in Jan 2009. * Got to level 2 at 7.40pm, 01/02/2009. Yeh! * Reached level 3 at 3.54am, 16/02/2009. Awesome! * Level 4 at 17:04 on 03/04/2009. Long Tea break! --- I like programming, started with C at uni. and later moved to Java. During an MSc, I programmed mostly in Prolog and later C++. I've done some VBA too, during a work-placement but I felt it was better suited for non-programmers. As with all languages though, it's what you do with it that matters. :)
How to design or code my own Flash movie or music player interface?
I don't mean re-using what another website is offering or doing minor customisation through Javascript. Any idea on what i need to start this project would be most appreciated. Thanks.
3 AnswersProgramming & Design1 decade agoWhen looking at share price or index, why is the volume important too?
I was looking at FTSE-100 and other leading indexes and noticed the volume bar chart underneath. This had a pattern too. I'd like to know whether there's something to learn when looking at volume vs. share price.
1 AnswerInvesting1 decade agoHas any of you people sued a parcel delivery company due to a privacy violation?
I recently got a package delivered by UPS-UK and there was lots of parcel-tape on it. When I checked it out, I realised that the tape was concealing a massive tear that was running across the bottom bit of my parcel. The tear was big enough to allow removal of the content and putting it back in.
I contacted UPS but they say it's "damage during shipping" but the thing is, that's just a bad excuse! I feel that my parcel was opened (intentionally or not) and re-sealed, and purely based on that, I say it's a privacy violation. What do you think?
