PLEASE READ IN FULL! I was playing minecraft and decided to switch to creative mode to do some fun building. Then, out of curiosity I decided to build a nether portal since I have never done that before. Well, that screwed me cause once there, I could not find my portal anywhere! So, I decided to try and make another but when I got out, I was in a totally new location. I tried to find my way home but was unsuccessful. To prove my stupidity even more, I decided to build a new house for fun and make a new bed AND SLEEP IN IT. So when I killed myself to try to get home, I spawned at this new bed instead of my original home. Yep, I screwed myself big time. And I don't have my location points so that doesn't help things but keep in mind, I didn't intend on getting lost. So I looked up how to return to my original spawn point because my house is right by there and most advice said to use a compass. They said the compass will always point to your original spawn point. Some people said the spawn point changes and will point to your bed most recent but then it was confirmed that is not true, the compass always points to your original spawn. SO I'm still on creative mode, flying around with my compass. It has been 3 days...I have still not gotten to my spawn point and I'm worried this will crash my file. I mean, I have seen locations that I have never encountered in this file and just have never gotten near my desired location. Is there text I can type to return to spawn or a hack? TY!

I have a blogger website and just purchased a domain name through GoDaddy.com. Everything was successful and I was able to connect my new domain name to blogger but it won't load the webpage at all. It says it can't connect.

I know the question may be a little dense but it is coming from a girl who knows nothing about this author.

The book caught my eye at target and I was contemplating on buying it for my boyfriend who has diabetes and I thought this would be a good book for him to relate to but after reading the back cover summary, I don't see anything about diabetes.

This is important. My copy of the book is at home and I need the page number for a 2,500 word essay. I didn't expect to be quoting C.S. Lewis but it fits perfectly with my argument.

I've tried to do a simple google search but have had no such luck.

I read the article and I found it extremely difficult to understand what Chomsky's point was or what he was talking about at all. I have no idea where he was trying to take me as a reader. His writing style was a huge turn off and I just can't understand what I'm supposed to be reading and understanding. I have to write a 1 page response on this article and I don't even know how to respond. Help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I am extremely tired right now with a headache and read the article because I want to get my response paper for it done early and I'm struggling a lot. I have been doing perfectly in my minecraft world but my only problem is that I can't find pigs or cows or chickens anywhere! Everywhere I go there is only sheep which is strange since in previous games sheep are always hard to find. I've had to respawn 4 times now because I keep starving. Any help would be appreciated! Last night around almost one o'clock I went to shut down my computer but saw it needed updates and so I clicked shut down so it would do the updates and shut off. It was taking a long time but that has happened before. I was tired so I thought, I will leave it and let it do its thing. Well it is now ten hours later and still stuck on update 3 of 12. It is in shutdown mode so it is not like I can do ctrl+alt+delete. Should I force a shutdown? Will that do anything to my machine?

EXTRA INFO ABOUT MY LAPTOP RECENTLY - I have recently gotten the blue screen of death because for some reason I will install a program and I guess the laptop has issues because I always get a blue screen after I install something and thereafter the machine goes back to a point when it was working...and it uninstalls my program that I just installed. The laptop is already having problems...could this have to do with them?

Either way, I just want my laptop up and running safely so please walk me through how I can accomplish this. Thank you!

I am skyping with someone and while they are showing up on my screen, I am not showing up on theirs even though my webcam is working and I see me, but he doesn't see me. How can we fix this cause there seems to be nothing wrong?

My teacher scanned the story for us to read for a class and it says it is in a book called Olinger Stories but that book is long since published and I would like to find a book of Updike's short stories that features Pigeon Feathers. Anyone know if he has a book of short stories published with that short story in it?

I have a memory card that holds 4gb and it came with a SanDisk adapter which fits perfectly to my tablet. The question is, how does this work? I've looked and looked on Google and nothing seems to be answering my question. How do I get the info I put onto my 4gb memory card on to the adapter to use with my tablet?

So I have been having a bit of issues with codecs today. I would love to explain the situation to you but it's too complex and I have already tried to do so on here and people misunderstand what I am trying to say so let me make this simple - I was having issues with windows DVD maker. I installed a codec which was recommended to me by a user on here. To my dismay, although the coded wouldn't have hurt my computer, I realized I didn't need it after all and so uninstalled it. Because it went through installing though, it deleted my previous settings and so now I basically have none. If you click on the image link below, you will see what my files look like. They used to show the images of my videos but now that is no longer true.

Please know this is not an issue about video playback!!! It is about what my files look like when I go through the on windows explorer.

MY QUESTION IS, how do I fix this? How do I return my files back to the way they used to be which was showing me a preview image instead of a weird icon that says mp4 or wmv or etc.?

Yesterday I was trying to burn a DVD of 7 AVI files and after 3 failed attempts of burning it, I went on here to ask for help. Someone said I needed a new codec which I knew could be possible. I have installed codecs before but don't know much about them other than they somehow let me access different features I wouldn't be able to have without them. So I went to this link the person provided and went to install the codec, only to realize that it was going to reset my previous codec settings and so I had to ctrl+alt+delete and cancel the installation because it wouldn't even close and was forcing itself on me. I uninstalled it and everything was fine but now my files look different. I don't mean they play different, they just look different when looking at them in their folders. They no longer contain images and such.

Anyone know the codec I have to install to get this feature back. To be clear, I am looking to have my files LOOKING the way they used to, meaning when I open up my videos folder and see the list of videos I want them to have the video image and not a picture of an air balloon that says WMV or DIVX. It's not about how the video play but how they look in the folders. Thanks

I recently just purchased a software that lets me adapt my VHS tapes to files on my computer and then burn them onto DVD. The VHS tapes were converted to AVI files and there ended up being a total of 7 files, all AVI, and a total of 147 minutes (Windows DVD Maker lets you burn up to 150 minutes) and all the files add up to 1.07 GB. I tried to burn the files and got the error message at 99% so tried to burn them again because sometimes Windows DVD Maker will do this randomly. To my surprise, the error came up again. So I thought, maybe I need to remove a file. So I deleted a file so that it was only burning 122 minutes of files. An error still came up. I burned two other VHS tapes today...both were movies and both were AVI and both burned successfully. Why not this?

Anyone know what the problem could be? Because I'm lost.

I want to submit a video online for something and it says you can upload a video that is 30fps but my video is 23fps. Does it make a huge difference?

Before youtube changed, I was able to click the button above a video that had the amount of videos on the channel and it would show a list of 4 pages of their videos following the video I was watching. I liked this because lots of times I watch channels almost like a TV show. Now there is no way for me to view other videos and that means I have to go to the actual channel but that does not have pages anymore. It is flash and so I have to click load more ten times just to get to the channel's first videos. How can I view the videos from a channel's video like the old times? Or more importantly, is there a way to get the old layout back?

It is about poland I believe and I read it in 7th grade. It is called the Eastern Steppe or Eastern Step or something and I can't think of the author. For some reason the name Edith stands out to me but I don't know. Anyone know? It's about leaving Poland I think and leaving on a train...It's been almost 10 years so I forget the book summary.

I am interested in having a film score that has never been (and seems like will never) released and want to make it myself not for personal gain but personal enjoyment. I have already tried using audacity to pull it away and make a "karaoke track" as most would call it, but you can still hear the words faded and the quality is awful. Anyone know how to get a great quality sound as if it was the actual score? I don't care how complex the process is.
