Is there any clinics or groups that provide Anonymous HIV testing with no counseling?
Hi,
I know several kids that want to get tested but do not want to talk to couselors at all. They have tested before, and they have talked to counselors before several times, so they know the facts ,etc. But they want to get tested in a regular basis somewhere but they hate talking to people. They figure that if they are positive they want to know at their own pace without talking to anybody. I don't know of any place in which you can get tested without the counsoling part. They will not get tested unless they do it without the counsoling part. Any ideas?????
4 AnswersSTDs1 decade agoIf a girl (or guy) lived with a person (then to split up), isn't she/he just like a divorced person?
Just curious of opinions, these days in the US so many women/men (hooking up) living with their partners for months or even years, then to split up. Aren't these folks pretty much similar to divorsed women/men. I mean if they had a place together, lived together, even had kids together. The fact that they did not get a marriage license should not really make a difference, no? Is there a category for women/men like these, more that just "dated", since it was so much more?. Furthermore, same idea could apply to gf/bf that has a place but lives with bf/gf most of the time - say 4 or 5 days out of a week. Thoughts?

2 AnswersSingles & Dating1 decade agoFilipinas dating blacks, is it very common? Accepted or not by the parents?
My friend who is white is seriously dating a Filipina who grew up in California (LA area). He is getting a lot of abuse and jokes from other friends (mostly whites but even a black guy) because his gf dated 2 black guys before him, at least one seriously as far as we know, and the other is in jail right now. The idea being that generally non-black girls that date black guys tend to be in the wild side (promiscuous) or be very easy, and this is really killing him inside. But another friend who was with the navy in the Philippines and is also from Ca says that Filipinas in general like black guys a lot (at least in comparison to other Asians) so for them dating blacks is not really a big deal. My friend has never dated a Filipino girl before. So I am passing this question from my friend, is it common for Filipinas in the US or in the Philippines to date blacks more often compared to other Asians, or not? , and in general would their parents be ok with this or not

3 AnswersOther - Soccer1 decade agoWhat digital camera drains the least battery power?
I am looking for a new digital camera. My only requirement is that the camera does not kill your batteries so quickly. I have a Samsung 5.0, that stupid camera is terrible. I take like 6 pics, and the batteries are dead. Then I had to recharge them again. I hate walking around with chargers and with 3 pairs of different batteries. And if I use regular batteries, they died even sooner
3 AnswersCameras1 decade agoWhy would an American man ever want to marry an American woman in today's society?
Just curious, why taking into account the way society is today why would an American male(specially if you are non religious) under 40, white or black ever want to marry an American woman? I have been to about 4 weddings of Americas in the last 4 years between white male/white female, w/w, black/black, and bl male/wh female. They all got divorced in less than 2 years. Everybody that I know is getting divorced. 1) These days it is very easy to have sex without getting married, and sex is nothing to so many American women (believe me I went to college here, why buy a cow when you can get the milk for free). 2) Before most of the time the woman was the main person holding the marriage, nowadays that is mostly not the case, lots of them are pretty quick in divorcing. 3) Money loses in general are pretty bad for males. 4) Many American women are raised to be like males, not many good wives in that group, more into parties & drinking. Living with somebody seems so much efficient, and simple

27 AnswersMarriage & Divorce1 decade agoIf HIV campaigns are so popular among celebrities, how come the celebrity porn videos don't have condoms?
There are several celebrity por videos around, Pamale Anderson doing Tommy lee, before that she doing the guy from Poison, paris hilton, Colin Farrel doing the playboy bunny, Fred Durst, the croatian singer, etc (see wiki for whole list) but in none of them you see a condom, what up with that? They talks so much about prevention, safe sex, but they do not do it! Has any of them ever mention that, what do you think??
6 AnswersCelebrities1 decade agoAs a whole do do you think that American law through history has been good for blacks and other minorities?
In light of another shooting by cops, and the fact that I always hear politicians in the US,etc to talk about following the law, with great reverance. I just curious, specially from the early days of this nation, has the law ever been in the side of the powerless, immigrants, poor, minoritites, etc. Would that be a never, few times sometimes, all the time or always.

3 AnswersLaw & Ethics1 decade agoWhy there is so much ignorance about HPV?
I am just curious, I thought that by now with the new HPV vaccine, there would be a lot more interest in this condition. I work with a lot of teenegers, and so few of them have not clue about HPV. Basic things like the fact that people can get it with condoms or without it, or that there are over 100 different strains, or that the new vaccine will cover about 70% of some of the main strains is like chinese to them. I have discovered that a lot of people that teach sex ed do not like to talk too much about HPV becasue it is a virus that you can often get even when you wear a condom (similar to Herpes), and they think that this might be in a way diminish the benefits of teaching to wear a condom. Also the fact that some people get HPV and get not sytoms (specially males who become carriers) might be a reason too. HPV can cause so much infertility and cancer, so I am very curious to learn what people think, specially teens and young adults.

4 AnswersSTDs1 decade agoA friend is dating a girl who i slept with, she is claiming now that she is a virgin, should I tell him?
He is a very good kid, christian and all, I did not know until recently that he was with her now; he did tlk a lot about his 'pure angel', and he is very serious thinking about marriege and all. He is very proud and excited that she is a "virgin". I know that this belief is one of the reasons why he is so much in love with her. I slept with her a couple of times like a year ago, and she was and is not virgin, she is just a club hopper chick. Now I feel guilty about the whole thing. Should I tell him? or should her just play him? I feel like this is going to break his heart but if I was in his situation I would like to know, what do you think?
