Can employers legally give different information about the interview methods and schedule to candidates?
I went for a job interview last week and was sent a letter beforehand which just gave the time to arrive and the title of a presentation. When I got there, one of the candidates had a detailed schedule, including things I wasn't prepared for e.g. the inclusion of a data task and two panel interviews.It had been sent to him by email the day before.
I was really cross about this. Were they breaking the law?
