I just want reassurance that I'm not the only one who hates their job.

I just got hired as a cook at a chain pizza restaurant. I've worked there before when I was in college and I know it's terrible, so my expectations are low. The part that irks me is after finishing college I worked insanely hard for 3 years in my chosen career and achieved mild success, but now find myself back to square one. Everyone I know keeps congratulating me for getting this pizza job and I honestly want to scream at them. It's a freaking pizza place, not a fortune 500 job ya know? They know I went to school and wasted time and money on an education, this is not necessarily what anyone envisioned for me is it?

So, even though I already know my next venture is going to suck beyond all imagination...how do I keep my cool in the workplace, so as to keep everyone happy?

I'm filling out an application for this grocery store chain, and it asks me to name my top 3 position choices should I be hired. All I can think of are Stocking, Cashier/Clerk, Bakery/Deli...I don't really want to list cashier...so what other positions might be offered in a grocery store?

A couple weeks ago, I was having terrible chest pain, that I assumed was indigestion...but ended up being mediflighted to a heart hospital. They said that according to some test it looked like my heart had suffered some trauma similar to a heart attack, but after a week in the hospital (and barage of tests & labs) they couldn't find any rhyme or reason for it. I was discharged without knowing the cause of my original pain, but felt fine until a couple days ago. The pain comes back in brief moments of tightness and sharp pain, but goes away in a minute or less. Anyone have any ideas why my chest/heart would be doing this?

3 astronauts in a space shuttle arguing trying to figure out who left their door open because that annoying ding ding ding sound wont stop. Then they start arguing because one wants to roll his window down. . . eventually the space shuttle is ready for take off, but they didn't figure out whose door was open, and the ship blows up.

I don't dislike him as much as others...but I just feel like he would be more comfortable and secure as a Televangelist...what do you think? Sunday's with Tebow would get good ratings in certain parts of the country.

Me and my girlfriend have been slowly breaking up for the last couple months. We are more than officially not together anymore, but still have had some contact (phone calls, e-mails). I hate the fact that I've lost her, and I tried to be "Just Friends" but obviously that doesn't work when I find out she's having sex with other people and wants to discuss it, because we're "friends". I'm pretty stressed over the loss and have found myself drinking way too much, and when I attempted to slow down on the drinking, I started over eating, and I don't wanna get crazy fat anytime soon. What else can I do when feeling, down, depressed, anxious about this situation.

Serious answers are appreciated.

I've been responding to e-mails back and forth for a couple weeks about a vehicle, but my gut is telling me not to buy this car. I feel bad for the guy because he has really negotiated nicely and seems to need money pretty bad. How can I say I'm not interested anymore without being a bad guy?

Well, he had a stroke and heart attack about 2 years ago. He is paralyzed on his left side. He' s attempted overdosing on sleeping pills once, but no success. He complains of being in constant pain, and asks for pain medication/sleep medication/muscle relaxers/etc. When we think he has had too much, we have to tell him "no more" because we are afraid of him overdosing. He doesn't care about that, he just wants the pain to go away. We want to make him happy and comfortable, but at the same time do not want to be responsible if he takes too much medicine. Any advice out there?

P.S. He is DNR (Do Not Resuscitate) if that makes a difference.

Went through a long break up. I knew it was coming, not a big surprise. Can't stop thinking about it, and don't have any friends available to hang out with since most of them have families and lives of their own. I don't really wanna drink my sorrows or anything like that. So, what is the most effective way to move on after a failed relationship?

My dog is pregnant...i'm thinking somewhere around 3 weeks. She has been vomiting almost daily with a few exceptions, but aside from that her eyes look droopy and sometimes she just lays her head in my lap and appears to feel terrible. I hate seeing her like this. Any advice.

Her energy level goes from one extreme to another...she's typically a fast paced dog (vizsla) but like I said...just looks as if she feels miserable.

I've been hustling my art hardcore for a month or so now since I'm totally broke. Everyone always compliments my art, but apparently no one wants to hang it on their walls. What's the problem???

Tell me...in your honest opinion would you pay money for my art or not? Should I try to make it more marketable???

We've been together for almost 2 years. In the last 6 months I've lost my sex drive. My therapist says i'm clinically depressed and that's what has affected my sex life. My Girlfriend doesn't understand what the probem is and we fight about it everyday. I want to get along with her and just have a decent time...but without the idea of sex being involved. I'm just not slightly interested.

She WILL breakup with me soon...I'm positive. But at this point...I really don't care. I just don't want to argue anymore. Anyone have a point of view on this one?

A friend is trying to send me money, but needs the information before they leave.

I live in rural oklahoma...not close to any sort of pool or anything like that. I smell it all around our house and we had to shut the windows because the smell was taking over the house. Our water pressure is fine, so I know we don't have a busted pipe.

I live with my parents and we've recently had a lot of financial issues. Our paychecks just don't cut it at the moment, and we are close to having no food in the house.

I currently have 10 dollars, and was thinking I can buy enough stuff to make a large batch of cupcakes or something like that and resell them for a dollar or 75 cents and almost double my money or better, which I can turn around and do again and again.

Is this a good idea? If so where would be the best place to try selling them?

Trying out the christmas tree early to see if there are any problems...and indeed there are. The bottom portion of the prelit tree is not working in some spots. Some areas are lit, and some others are not. The bulbs that are not working appear to have a black tint, almost a "burnt" look.

Any suggestions other than replacing 50-100 different bulbs.

I recently adopted a dog, and she has finally warmed up to the house and her surroundings. There is just one thing that perplexes me. She will scoop the food up from her bowl and into her mouth. Then walk out of the kitchen and into the hallway before chewing and crunching and swallowing. Then go back for another mouth-ful , and back and forth and back and forth.

We just laugh when she does it. It's nothing terrible, just odd behavior.

Anyone ever seen or heard of anything like this before?
