I think child me would break down and if I found out I never went to Egypt, now work in insurance, and feel "too tired" in the evening to take the time to take an interest in and enjoy much new music.

I have a toshiba and am running Windows 7. I share a "secure" wireless network with my roommate. I'm not really worried she'll spy, I'm more worried a virus or something (which she currently has) could get to my computer through hers because I came across a file with her computer login name but I didn't understand why it was there. I want to make it so nothing she does can be seen or exchanged to me and vice versa. Any advice?

This new bill is proposing to tax those things that would "likely increase health care costs such as sodas and alcohol." But why not cigarettes? Seems those would cause more expensive and numerous repercussions than sugary drinks. Would it have anything to do with those purposing it being smokers? Thoughts please! (and try to play nice)

I'm about to graduate with a degree in Anthropology (focusing on physical anthropology/Paleontology). My minor is Geology and I still have a few courses to go, but I think Geology is what I want to pursue for my Masters. I have one full year of chemistry, physics, and calculus each, but what are my chances of being accepted into a graduate degree program for Geology without an undergraduate degree in it?

Seems like a bad idea to change my major this late in the game if I could still be considered for admission into a graduate program for geo.

I had strep three weeks ago. Took all my antibiotics and my sinuses started to get infected so I went back to the doctor and got a nasal spray, I was NEGATIVE for strep.

4 days later, I feel fine besides a small cough BUT ALSO a pinching in the back of my throat isolated to my right side that hurts so badly I can barely swallow or eat and it's even affecting my breathing when I sleep. It doesn't hurt to talk, but it does feel like there is something lodged in the back. It doesn't look or feel infected or like a typical sore throat, but I think I see a bump or two. Any idea what this is, how long it will take to go away, and how to soothe it? Could it be an ulcer? I appreciate your help!

I want to know anything about the amount of sun/damage one should be concerned about on their skin.

I know it only takes a few "good burns" to develop certain types of skin cancer but does it classify as a "good burn" if you dont peel and the redness fades after NO more than 2-3 days? I'm fair complected and often get red even after using sunblock and it had me wondering.

In my favorite Beatles' song "Across the Universe" the chorus starts off with

Is there any truth to the tale that if you use an anti-aging cream before you need it (say for under your eyes) that it can actually SPEED UP the development of wrinkles? I dont need the cream, but it makes my eyes feel cool and relaxed after a long day of studying!

I know nothing about it but my legs have pain or tingling often and I have no idea why. (obviously) It's usually after I stand awhile but other times its for no reason at all. Some weeks its not an issue but I cant sit still or sleep when its at its worse & it drives me crazy and the only thing thats helped at all is soaking in scolding hot water and a little bit with stretching. I'd appreciate any help on this.

Could someone please explain what a kipper is? I'm from the states and I was reading the Harry Potter books and they often mention having kippers for breakfast. I thought it was a fish but surely thats not what they are having for breakfast?!

Since School let out, I've been getting 8-9hrs(at least)of sleep, not skipping meals, and not under so much stress and yet I'm more tired now than I was during school. I used to jog alot but lately even doing the dishes or vacuuming makes me really fatigued and drowsy! Its frustrating because I have so much I want to get done but I'm always super sleepy so I have to take a nap and I dont want to get fat and lazy over the summer! lol. Seriously though, What may be causing this and how can I boost my energy?
