Honestly....why do you NOT insist your boyfriends wear condoms? I have read every bull$hit excuse known to man from pulling out to using tampons for birth control...

IT DOES NOT WORK!!! If you are willing to put yourself in danger and/or compromise, you don't need to be having sex. If you think tampons are birth control, first you need to talk to your MOM and not be asking strangers for sex advice.

If you cannot muster the CONFIDENCE to TELL your boyfriend that he will wear a condom (not negotiable) you need to not have sex.

According to guidelines, I am very much at risk for diabetes. I have a very strong family history (Dad died from renal failure, type I) and I had a baby over 10 pounds. I was gestational diabetic for both my kids. I am also carrying an extra 20 pounds.

My blood sugars run from the 60's to 90....hardly going over 90. I had a 5 hour GTT and got to 42!

I am wondering if I am at risk at all. I appreciate your experience and opinion.

My honey and I have been together since September. For Christmas, he gave me a "promise" ring. He would call or text me several times a day to say hi and he loves me.

This attention started to dwindle about 2 months ago. We split for a couple of days b/c I thought he was pulling away. Those days were miserable and we vowed not to do it again.

Lately he is doing it again. He forgot Valentine's day...I had the flu and he sent one text in 2 days...but most disturbing is that he does not seem to make time for us like he did. When I try to talk to him about it, the response is "here we go!" ( with an eyeroll)

I KNOW he loves me...should I just give up?

I know Christmas can be tough...I have even thought that maybe SOMEONE elese brought this "foot spa" back to the store and he picked it up. He is a great guy...thoughtful and sweet otherwise...maybe he did a turd thing and is not a turd? I AM going to call his attention to this after Christmas...what do you think?
