Let’s face it, the most popular questions are really just someone trying to voice an Opinion, and the choice of best answer is given to the person who agrees the most.

Yes I understand the irony of asking a question that in itself is an opinion.

Plus when the question is factual, is there a problem that we are perpetuating commonly held misconceptions?

How come it seems that the most extreme answers seem to get the most positive response, are we to believe that the yahoo community is full of illiberal, racist, self obsessed individuals? Or are we quite diverse?

So, the real question is what can be done? Or do you agree?

I just want to know, I obviously have my own opinions, but I want to know what other people think and why?! Granted asking this question at 4.30 in morning is unlikely to reach a large cross section of the community but its worth a shot. p.s I don't care what your opinions are whether you love or loathe them, I just want your reasoning.

hi, i thought i would start freshers week early, who are you and what are you studying?

pentiums or AMD's, which do you prefer and why,

what do people think of celeron M, or D or centrinos, Pentium 4's Pentium D's, AMD Athlons 64, turions64, just information tell me stuff interesting and compare these, i know theres plenty of different types of these but vagually what does everyone think,

i am about to get my A level results, and lets say i dont think ive got what i needed, was supposed to do biochemical engineering at UCL, which would have been awesome, my second choice was economics at essex, but doubt that i have got the grades for either, at A level i studied physics, biology and economics. bizzarly enough i think i did worse in economics which is supposed to be far easier, so even if i went through clearing i couldnt do economics, which is what i thought would have been my back up subject f i couldnt go to ucl, soo i need a new university to go to and a new subject to do, so i need any ideas anything really, where is good, what is good? i think i am going to end up getting CCC poss worse which is upsetting after being predicted A's. p.s retaking is not an option i would end up jumping off a cliff if i had to go back to my college. Anyway thanks for reading, 10 points and a big clap on the back for any good answers.

ive just screwed up my final A levels and ive probabyly ended up with CCD when i was predicted like ABB which is a little embarrassing sooo i need a good university to go to, ive just done physics, biology and economics at A level and theyre quite academic i spoes, but seeing that what i was going to do is gone to pot i have no idea what i should do now?? what degree and where??? hellp me out and thanks for reading.
