Our car got stuck in the snow and ice, as I tried to step on the gas to make it go, my brother noticed that only the right front wheel is turning in the ice, while the left wheel isn't. I would expect a car with FWD to have BOTH wheels turning when stuck in ice or mud. When we did manage to get it out, it seemed as though the car was being driven only by one wheel--the right front wheel turns when the gas is hit, left wheel remains still. Is something wrong with the drivetrain, or is this normal?

I have large (8in x 8in) ceramic tiles on my bathroom floor that came loose. The grout is cracked and now water that splashes out of my shower stall gets underneath it. I don't want mold to develop under the tiles. I want to know how I can fix the tiles permanently and prevent water from getting underneath them. I have about 5 tiles that are now with cracked grout and with water underneath. They are white tiles with no fancy designs on them. Would adhesive caulk alone work? If not, what do I need to fix them and how do I do it? Thanks!

Apricots have a fuzzy skin--are you supposed to remove them prior to eating or can they just be eaten? I'm trying apricots for the first time.

I have always had a gas stove where I can tell how big a flame I'm cooking with. But this is the first time I've had an electric stove--how long should I leave the ground beef in the spaghetti sauce before it's cooked? How can I tell if it's cooked? I don't want to get myself sick!

I am forced to suddenly move. I need to resell my furniture, but at the same time, try to get a decent amount back as I need the dough for school. The furniture I have is from the formal living room and dining room and is hardly used, still good condition.

I accidentally drove my car through about 1ft of standing water in poor visability conditions (rainy night). The car floated for a bit until I gassed it to get myself out of the water. No water got inside the passenger compartment as far as I know. Then the car had a funny smokey smell and what looked like steam coming out from under the hood on my drive back to my house about 0.5 miles away. All electrical systems were still running when I parked it. But I'm worried. What should I do with the car now? Is it safe to drive? What might go wrong under such conditions?
