Is there any difference in the hydroxycut available at stores like WalMart than say stores like GNC? I cant understand the price difference unless there was something else to it. Just curious.

I found an old movie favorite of mine on dvd that I have not been able to find anywhere else before. I found it on a website called Rarity Movies Etc. and is located at http://shop.vendio.com/raritymovies. I am curious if anyone has purchased anything from them before if so how was the experience. From what I understand some of the movies on this site are extremely rare so I am curious about the quality of the vendor and the movies. Anyone?

I designed a graphic based on a local high school's mascot. There are many versions of this animals head on tshirts, signs, stickers and so on. The way I did it is completely different from what anyone else has seen and it is becoming kind of popular. I painted it on a fence for a local sports bar. There has however always been a thing about t shirt shops, and the like, in the area stealing ideas from one another and so on. Simply put, is it possible to get a registered copyright for a design that is based on an existing idea (this particular animal not someone else's design) or does it fall into a General usage type of category? There is no text associated with the design that states the school name...for now it's just a picture of this mascot/ animal.

I have a friend who is wanting to use the French word "quelle" in her business name...as in "Quelle Shop". She states that it means "What a Shop!" as in an excited statement. I keep thinking that it really means more like "Which shop?" as in someone asking a question. If I am right...what would be the proper way to say "What A shop!" in French? Thanks for your help.

I have a 120gb HDD from a 98SE system that I installed as a second drive. I am getting ready to purchase a new system (hopefully I can still find a new XP, not crazy about Vista quite yet) and I want to know if I can install this HDD into a new computer with the new OS. It still has plenty of space but it has some important files on it (backed up already). Its a Maxtor HDD and not all that old but nowadays everything is old in two months. I am just concerned about the way the new OS will read it if at all. I know, I know "still running 98se?..you gotta be kidding!" Hey, it still works and with very few headaches. Anyway, any input on this out there?

Is there a command or place in Illustrator to make the stroke width stay constant at something other than 1. I usually use .25 or .5, but I am always having to select those sizes. It defaults to 1 everytime. I just cant find a place to change this. (using Illustrator 10)

I have used Firefox since it came out...no problems, I love it. I can't stand IE, but I never had to worry about it. UNTIL NOW. My son downloaded a program he shouldnt have and my system suffered. I have cleaned it, run anti-everything I can (virus scan, adaware, spybot, system mechanic), nothing dangerous is found anymore. Now though, when online I cant keep Internet Explorer from popping up every 10 seconds it seems with some web page trying to sell me something (no specific page, just ads). Is there anything else I can run or a way within XP to shut IE down? Firewall says it is on, anti virus is on...what else can I do?

I have another computer running 98se and doing very well with it. We just got cable broadband or my residence. I installed a compatible ethernet card on the older PC. The installation went well, the PC recognizes the card, BUT when I connect the cable from the cable modem nothing happens. I can connect with this laptop (XP) but nothing happens with the same cable/connection to the older desktop. Any suggestions?

First of all my PC is kinda old. I am still running 98se on a 1 ghz athlon thunderbird with 384 sdram, a creative soundblaster 128 sound card, a mad dog multimedia 6 in 1 dvd burner and plenty of hard drive space. My movies start and operate just fine including all menu functions and features but about 5 minutes into playback my sound goes away but the video and everything else still work fine. There are no other programs running in the background using sound files. It does this with PowerDVD 5 and all my other player softwares (PC friendly, interactual, etc). This computer works great in all other aspects except for this little problem. Any ideas?

(before anyone says, "Just go buy a computer from this generation!".... i have a newer computer and this one is used for specific work for which it is more than capable.

the phone jack on my laptops modem is looking pretty loose. i would like to know if this is something I can change myself. I do my own work on my desktop, but have never attempted anything on my laptop, other than memory. Any suggestions or sites where I can actually buy parts for a laptop.

Just realized I have Fireworks on my computer. Never used it before. Just wondering what it is best used for.
