need code for a program simular to a audio meter but instead of displaying the level on a bar graph it just puts the level into a variable ex ( 0-100 )

have seen vb audio meters that use special libraries but they want $$ for them.

I am using visual basic 2008 express to code.

I know there are lots of people who do not believe in ghost. and even verbally attack those who do. and the methods they use to try to prove their existence . I know with current technology we can't absolutely prove their existence yet. with technology improving all the time it is only a matter of time before we prove their existence. remember once people thought the earth was the center of the universe before technology proved them wrong. and people thought the earth was flat. and if you even suggested that things were made up of atoms you were an outcast. but my true question is once we get rock solid proof would you die hard people who don't believe in them still not believe in them and why ?
