Why do Americans always make fun of Canadians?
Well...I guess it's not just Americans teasing Canadians but it's the other way around as well but I can only see it from the Canadian side but not the American side...someone explain their chauvinism for me please?

1 AnswerOther - Cultures & Groups1 decade agoTrade in Ace of Spade for a brand new pack of cards?
I heard somewhere that we can get a fresh new pack of cards by sending in the company the cards came from an Ace of Spade. Is that true? I have an address on my Ace of Spade card of where it came from and I'm missing a lot of the cards in the pack so I'm hoping it does work.
2 AnswersCard Games1 decade agoFullride scholarships third tier or money for 1st tier?
For all scholarships, including full ride ones, do we have to apply for them or do we simply send in the college application and the college decides our eligibility on it?
Another question: do you think it is better to go to a full ride third tier college or pay money for a 1st tier college?
1 AnswerFinancial Aid1 decade agoScholarship for the UC campuses?
I want to apply for some scholarships for the UC colleges (UC Berkeley, UCSD, UCLA, UCR, UCI, UCB, UCD) but I think all of them require applicants to be permanent residents or US citizens...is that true?
1 AnswerFinancial Aid1 decade agoComic con tickets question...?
Okay, so I bought the badge for the comic con where it has names for us...are the people checking us in in comic con very stringent? Cause I bought a ticket under the name of a person who's not going so I want to give it to another but the name's different so yeah...
1 AnswerComics & Animation1 decade agoWill AP classes potentially lower grades in college?
Okay, what I mean here is, say I take enough AP classes to skip 1 maybe even 2 years of college. That'll mean my GPA on a registration for graduate will be entirely based on my junior and senior year of my undergraduate years. That also means my GPA won't include any general ed or core classes' grade since those were taken care of by AP classes where they only counted the credit but not the grade. So since, I'm assuming, classes get harder as you go higher towards graduation, won't my college GPA be very likely pretty low since I didn't get the chance to take the easier classes to boost up my grade (assuming that I decide not to take the general ed again to save money).

8 AnswersOther - Society & Culture1 decade agoWould roosters crow if it was put in a black room for a week?
Would the rooster lose its ability to crow after not seeing the sun for several days? My dad and I had a debate on whether the crow of roosters is something instinctively that they cannot control and just comes out of them or whether it's just when they see the sun...or whatever...
4 AnswersZoology1 decade agoWhich one is grammatically correct? "It's just you and I" or "It's just you and me?"?
I was watching Princess Diaries 2 Royal Engagement and I got to the scene where the Queen was reprimanding Mia about how other people "lose it" but royalties are suppose to "find it..." Then Mia storms off speaking unintelligibly and the Queen says to the dog (Maurice?) "I guess it's just you and I now..."
Well...it doesn't sound grammatically correct but I'm guessing it is since the queen said it and on television so you would think that the director would be smart enough to have the queen speak grammatically correct right?

3 AnswersHigher Education (University +)1 decade agoWhy is the symbol of angular momentum "L?"?
Please don't give answers such as:
1) It was arbitrarily chosen
2) M, N, O, and P was taken, so they decided to go backwards...

2 AnswersPhysics1 decade agoShould I retake my APEC exam?
Okay, so the AP National Scholar Award requires 8 APs with all 4s at least...I got a 3 on my APEC exam soph year...should I retake it my junior year just to get that National Scholar Award?
The only thing that's making me hesitate is that I have to restudy 18 chapters again and pay a whooping $92...
I'm not worried about my colleges not accepting this because I already read that UC will accept a 3 for APEC so basically the only reason I will be taking it again is to get the AP National Scholar Award...is it worth it?
1 AnswerStandards & Testing1 decade agoIn colleges, do they also have honor classes like high schools where an A is equal to 5.0 weighted?
Like in High School, for AP classes, an A is a 5.0 weighted in GPA, so are there such things in colleges? Or is the highest "weighted" (if there is such a thing) GPA in college a 4.0?
12 AnswersHigher Education (University +)1 decade agoWhat percentage for A+, A, A-?
Okay, I know that A is usually like above 90% and in high school it usually doesn't matter whether it's a -, or + because it has no effect on the GPA, but in college I heard an A- is actually not a 4.0.
So then from what percentage is an A? 92% 93% or 94%?
2 AnswersOther - Education1 decade agoOkay, so we're supposed to sleep 7-9 hrs...what about when? Is it alright to sleep 7-9 hrs during the day?
I mean, there's so many articles saying that it's not good to sleep less than five, or less than six, in fact, we should sleep between 7-9 because not only less, but more is also detrimental to our health...okay, so we've established the time...now what about the when? Is it unhealthy to sleep during the day and work during the night? Or sleep in the afternoon and wake up really early (like 4 or 5am) to do work? Can we be productive during those times? Or when are we most productive?
