How much does TMobile slow down after I run out of high speed data?
I am with T-mobile currently and looking to switch to a data plan. I do not care much about data on a cell phone but am choosing between the plans available online. I am wondering just how slow the data will go after I run out of the 500 mb on their basic plan. Will I be wishing I signed up for more? I hesitate paying $40 more a month for our family plan for unlimited high speed.
2 AnswersCell Phones & Plans8 years agoPain after ingrown toenail surgery?
I had ingrown toenail surgery 3 days ago. Went well. I was advised to soak in Epsom salt 2x day, no neosporin and no hydrogen peroxide. The day after surgery it felt great. The next day a little pain. Pain woke me up last night. Pain is getting really bad to where I cannot go to sleep. 600 mg Ibuprofen is doing nothing. Doesn't hurt much to touch but deep throbbing pain around toe and under the nail. I'm guessing it is infected. Does anyone have advice? Do podiatrists prescribe antibiotics at this point or would peroxide now be good?
Thanks!
2 AnswersPain & Pain Management8 years agoWhy are so few of the republican, GOP debates televised?
I am eager to watch each debate. Whenever one is set to run, I look at the network that is sponsoring it, such as CNN on Oct 18 2011, so I can record it on my DVR and they are not airing it on television. I have dish network with extended channels and I have only seen a couple of the debates hit the television. The others I am stuck watching online. Why wouldn't this be the obvious thing airing on the network that is sponsoring the debate?
9 AnswersElections10 years agoAny health insurance companies offering HSA with pregnancy benefits?
I am looking for private insurance since my job does not offer any benefits. I am interested in the high deductible health plans with HSA options because I pay around 30% taxes but the ones I have looked at entirely exclude pregnancy. SelectHealth plans with HSA have no coverage but their HMO plans include a $7500 out of pocket maximum per pregnancy which I will likely go with unless I can find a company that has a similar out of pocket max on pregnancy with HSA. Maybe there is no such thing? Any advice is helpful as well since I am new to private insurance.
In case you're wondering, I am interested in some pregnancy coverage because our first child was delivered c-section and we plan on our next child coming the same way and I'm thinking the pregnancy/delivery may run around $15,000 or so.
3 AnswersInsurance1 decade agoHow do I remove the hand tool in photoshop?
Using CS4. I have had this problem before. I copy/paste masks or do other tasks and then when I go to paint or do anything else, all I have is the hand icon to move the image around. I read somewhere else to push ctrl+alt+shift which actually worked once for me but doesn't anymore. When I shut down photoshop and start it back up, I am still stuck with only a hand icon. Then if I go to internet for a while and come back, sometimes the hand is gone and I can do other stuff again.
Please help!!
2 AnswersSoftware1 decade agoDifference in Nikon 18-200mm lenses?
I just purchased the AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR II lens to go with my D90. Nikon also sells the AF-S DX VR Zoom-NIKKOR 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G IF-ED lens for around $100 less. I have looked all over the web and cannot find anyone stating the difference between these two lenses. on Nikon's web site, they have the exact same specs. They look slightly different. Hopefully I didn't pay an extra $100 for some obscure feature I don't need. Can anyone help me with an answer on this?
3 AnswersCameras1 decade agoAnyone used a Clark's Jungle Hammock before?
I love camping and am wondering about trying it with a hammock for a change. Just wondering if anyone has any feedback on these. I do like to sleep on my stomach or side but I like the idea of a hammock. If I get one, I am not really interested in a cheap one. Any input?
3 AnswersCamping1 decade agoAnyone know what products are the winners of Backpacker Magazine's editor's choice awards for 2010?
I was just on rei.com and saw that in the description for the new jetboil flash it says it is a winner of the backpacker magazine editor's choice awards for 2010. I went to the backpacker magazine website and cant' find details on the awards for 2010. Anyone know where I can find a list of the product winners for 2010?
1 AnswerCamping1 decade agoHas anyone else had an ant bite on their bung hole !?
I know you probably think I am lying but I swear this is true. So we have a few ants that roam our apartment. We spray fairly often but they always come back. That's So Cal for you. Anyway, I'm sitting on the john not 3 hours ago reading my Backpacker Magazine and I felt a little pinch on the O-ring. At first I didn't know what to think and stood up a little confused. And then again even harder. I quickly wiped him off but dang that was unpleasant.
So I'm wondering if this was an isolated event or has anyone else had this happen to them? Another question; how did he know to bite me right on the bull's eye?

I haven't bought a watch for a while and I'm sure there's some cool features I don't know about. Please provide the name of the watch or at least make so I can look it up. A website about it would be great if you know one. Thanks!
2 AnswersOther - Electronics1 decade agoIs it OK for California Christians to vote no on Proposition 8?
Prop 8 doesn't take away rights of gay couples, it just defines what marriage is. Under California law, gay couples already have all the same rights as straight so this law does not look to take any of these away.
Most Americans are not gay so I think many (even those who are religious) don't feel this law effects them but I think it will have far reaching consequences. In Massachusetts, the only other state that allows gay marriage, a Catholic adoption agency was shut down because it refused to adopt to gay couples. Lawsuits have been made against churches that will not marry gay couples and call it discrimination. Major websites and organizations have asked gay couples in all states to hold off the flood of litigation till after the elections are over. I could make this long but I'll stop there.
I'm obviously voting yes but what's your thoughts?
11 AnswersElections1 decade agoIs there a hydration bladder that doesn't taste like plastic or how do I get that taste out of my Camelbak?
Just got a camelbak unbottle 70 for my pack. Never had a hydration bladder before. It tastes so bad like plastic that my last hike I just took water bottles. Because of similar answers, I went through a round of bleach and then baking soda; might have helped a little but not much. I may just return the thing but I bought it online so I'll take a hit. Any advice for a different bladder to go with or, even better, a more effective way to get that nasty taste out of mine?

I am looking to practice dentistry in the Western half of the U.S. Most areas in these states seem to me to have lots of dentists already. Know any areas that could use more dentists?
1 AnswerCareers & Employment2 decades agoWhy do girls always go for guys who play hard to get?
I have a cousin who is the coolest guy. He's both nicer and better looking than me but just doesn't have much "game". I feel bad for him because girls rarely stick around with him. I, on the other hand, can usually get into relationships more often and they last longer. I have never figured out why. Any ideas?
