  • Why do black people support Michael Vick, O.J. Simpson, Mike Tyson, and Kobe Bryant more than white people?

In polls, blacks and whites are very divided in their opinions about Michael Vick, OJ Simpson, Mike Tyson, and Kobe Bryant. Are white people unfair or are black people too lenient on people of their own race? White people generally support the cops while black people generally support the person accused of a crime.

  • Has any NBA team won a championship with only one Hall of Fame player?

I think it takes 2 great players to win an NBA championship. Has any team done it with only one great player?

  • I thought I understood the Davis cup but I obviously don't. Can anyone explain?

So Fance and Serbia are in the Finals. What year are they competing for? USA beat Columbia to advance to the next round. Is that for the 2010 or 2011 competition? Why are some games listed as semifinals and some are listed as finals and some games listed as playoff games? Are we watching multiple years at the same time. Anyone have a good reference that explains it? Seems strange to be competing for multiple years at the same time with the same players.

  • Why were the experts so wrong this year in college football?

The experts consistently picked the wrong teams to win. They would have all lost money in Vegas if they gambled on their picks.

  • Should the NFL go to a double elimination playoff?

It would give us more games and help make certain that the best team wins.

  • Would a College Football Playoff find the best team or the luckiest team?

This bowl season has been filled with upsets. The experts were wrong more than they were right. Some would argue that this makes the BCS even more error prone since the so-called experts are the ones who pick the championship game. But what if luck has a substantial role in each game. Perhaps a playoff system would only find the luckiest and not the best overall team. The NBA, NHL, and pro baseball play multiple games so the best team wins. In football, a single unlucky play could cost you the game. I would like to see a playoff system but people would still argue that their team would win in a rematch or in a series of games. The SEC advocates said that about Utah and Alabama last year.

  • What is more important to the College Football BCS, Strength of Conference or Strength of Schedule?

It appears as if the historical strength of a conference is more important when ranking teams than the actual strength of schedule. While Florida, Alabama, and Texas come from BCS conferences, the difficulty of their schedules is questionable (as are the referee calls that have led to them remaining undefeated). Boise State defeated the PAC-10 champion. TCU defeated three top 25 teams including the Atlantic Division Champion for the ACC. Meanwhile, Florida has only one top 25 win to its credit. Texas also has only one win against teams currently in the top 25. Is it their conference or their schedule which people look at?

  • Who is the most overrated player in the NBA?

Here are my thoughts but I am ready for good arguments for others:

Kobe Bryant - top 10 in the NBA but his poor shot selection (excellent shooter but below average field goal percentage), poor relations with team members, and selfish basketball hurt him. He is overrated because some people claim he is better than Jordan.

Allen Iverson - poor shot selection and low field goal percentage. Has not helped the teams he has played for and his selfish attitude has prevented unity.

Tracy McGrady - Houston has been better without him.

Stephen Jackson - Poor attitude and poor shot selection. Not the leader they needed

Andrew Bynum - Hailed as the next big payer at LA. Has been injured cotinually.

Vince Carter - Claimed to be one of the best in the NBA but hislow field goal percentage has led to a losing team

Carmello Anthony - never lived up to the high expectations. Far too much hype.

Baron Davis - went from underrated to overrated as his performance dropped with his trade to the clippers.

    Any thoughts?

  • Did Obama's audience think he was referring to Palin?

Watch the video. Obama hesitates frequently for effect. This time he hesitates after saying "lipstick on a pig". The crowd cheers loudly. Some say to get rid of the bulldog. Does Obama realize at that point that he might have been misunderstood by his audience of supporters? Did he expect the doubles ententes?

  • Obama supporters are saying, "Palin gave a great speech in 2008 but she lacks experience." ?

Is this the right strategy? Should they avoid entanglement with Palin. After a long bitter fight against Hillary Clinton, can it be in their best interests to attack Palin?

  • Who in the NBA has the best last second shot?

Who has the highest percentage of making last second shots? Don't make a guess. I want actual statistics. Many of the NBA stars who like to take the last second shot have very low field goal percentages (Allen Iverson and Kobe Bryant for example).

  • Did Obama pay $30 million to Clinton for her to drop out?

He is helping her retire her $30 million in campaign debt. Was that a waste of donor money for her to run as long as she did when she didn't have a chance after February? Seems like she spend $100 million of hard working American money for nothing. She could have sent thousands to college instead.

Is this the economic policy we can expect?

  • Did anyone hear the old lady during Hillary's non-concession speech who yelled out "Don't vote for Obama."

Why didn't Hillary respond to that? It was very loud and caused Hillary to pause briefly.

Hillary will concede. She will not be chosen as VP. Does she prefer that Obama loses so she can run in 2012?

  • Can a true liberal really unify America?

Obama is pushing a liberal agenda yet is running on the view that he will unify Democrats, Independents, and Republicans. Has he ever unified them before? Does he ever cross the aisle to work with republicans?

It is a beautiful dream but I have serious doubts about the reality of Obama's ability to unify America. He couldn't even unify democrats.

If he picks a Republican VP, I'll vote for him. If he picks Hillary, I surely won't. If he picks Richardson or Biden, I'll listen to what he has to say critically. He'll have to convince me with more than words though. I want to hear real concrete plans and not just empty promises and rhetoric.

  • What happened to Obama's goal of uniting America?

Seems Obama can't even unite his party even now that he has basically won the nomination.

McCain has shown a greater ability to unite his party than Obama has. Is Hillary to blame or is it Obama's own fault?
