My husband is going to reenlist. He is in the Army and the new job that he is taking has an AIT of 8 months. So, when he goes to the post for the training will his son and I be able to go also? I ask because he is in Iraq right now, and I would hate to go another 8 months after a full year away from him. Thanks for your help and any advice!

I am 38 weeks and 3 days pregnant and I just got back from one of my check ups. My doctor checked my cervix and said that I was 1 cm dialated and 50% effaced. My question to all of you mothers is:

how long after you started dialating and effacing did you go into labor???

How long did it take you to progress from the point where I am at now???

My Husband is leaving for Iraq in July, and I will be having our first baby in September. So, first of all, have any of you been through that? And also, I know that I will probably be plenty busy with a baby, but how do you make the year go by faster? What did you do, what do you suggest? And finally, how did you cope with the stress and the fear of the worst happening? Thank you so much in advance for any answers!

My best friend and I were both pregnant together, I am due in September and she was due in December. We just found out yesterday that she lost her baby! I am still pregnant and I don't want to offend her by talking about my baby or the pregnancy...What should I do? Has anyone lost a pregnancy, what would you want said or done in this situation?
