3 AnswersLaw & Ethics4 years agoWhat are different options available to a non-American Resident Alien ex-felon in Civil Court Representation?
He is retired and lives on social security and can not afford a lawyer to settle a dispute about his real estate property on which he lives and pays the Real Estate Man who sold it to him. Pro Bono and other programs, I was told only help indigents only in criminal cases.

2 AnswersLaw & Ethics1 decade agoWhat are the property rights of a retired non-American, Resident Alien, who is also an ex-felon?
Is he allowed to the same rights as any other Resident Alien or can he be discriminated because of his felony conviction?
Is he allowed to buy or sell real property just as any other Resident Alien?
When he dies who gets the property? Can the neighbors claim the property under the pretense, that they kept watch on him when he was alive?
Can a lawyer refuse to represent him in a court or misrepresent him with no penalty, because of his felony conviction?

4 AnswersLaw & Ethics1 decade agoHow does Social Security work in for a non-American, Resident Alien, who is also ex-felon?
If he doesn't have a family of his own, is he required to depend on the neighbors for recommendation for SS benefits and Medicare and for any other benefits to be received?
Does the SSA require or hire neighbors to watch his spending and to keep control on how he is spending his SS money? Can the neighbors make money for doing that?
If so, is it paid from his SS fund?

2 AnswersLaw & Ethics1 decade agoWhat is your opinion of "Jehovah Witnesses" Church? Are they honest in their intent when they come in homes?
Do they really mean to spread gospel and help people?; or do they use that as an excuse to exploit the weak, disabled and retired seniors and press or obligate them for donations later.
Their church is run by Watch Tower Corporation in NY. As they say,If the church is completely run on donations, who are the real doners- the members?
I understand that their elders and ministeral servents are paid a salary. Do they and the "Publishers" expect donations from people they visit in homes?
Why are they unpopular, in general among the people, other than the fact they drop in unexpectedly and many times impose on people?
