I am 54, always lived in Oklahoma (just different towns here). I live on my parents property, I came back home about 4 years ago to take care of them as they both have had a stroke since the unexpected death of my brother. His death took it's toll on all of us but it hit mom and dad the worst of course. I moved here to care for them and to enjoy what time I have left with them. They took care of me for 18+ years and now it is my turn to take care of them. My parents ARE my life. I only had the one brother and no sisters. I do have a son and a daughter, both of which are grown and left home.(Daughter is living here for now again.) Update, mom fell about 3 years ago and broke her hip and had a new one put in. While she was in the hospital for that, dad got sick on me and had to have pace maker put in. Dad has since passed away, (12-20-09) at 86. Mom is ok, not good, just ok..
