Maternity leave questions?
I have an assignment for school to ask a few questions and base a short paper on the results. I need answers from 5 men and 5 women, I also need to know your race and class. If you are not comfortable answering those questions then feel free to post that you would rather not answer if you want but PLEASE keep it short if you choose to do so. Here are the questions.
Do you consider the US a family friendly country?
What was your current or former employers maternity leave policy (or your spouses policy if you aren't working)
New Zealand offers 12 paid weeks off, how would you feel about a policy like this in the US?
Why do you think the US doesn't offer paid time off for maternity leave to most women?
