I had a dream about my niece being kidnapped for several months. It really began to frighten me and make me wonder if my dream was really intuition and if I should 'warn' her parents.

I can't add curry because my husband hates it.

My nephew is 17 - he has had behavioral problems related mostly to a medical condition. However, he is truly a good kid at heart - I'm just worried about any bad influences on him that he meets on the internet, as evidenced by some of the people he chats with on myspace.

I saw mine years ago when my friend and I were on a bus trip. We were going through this small town slowly and this girl was standing on the sidewalk staring at me. My friend saw her too and looked at me freaking out. At the time we didn't know the term doppelganger, of course. I have never forgotten the look on that girls face - probably the exact same look of shock that was on mine. If you've seen yours, how do you feel about it? Was it an eerie experience? How do you explain it? Do you just consider it to be someone who looks just like you or do you attach a more supernatural meaning to it? Tell me about your experience!

Seriously, is this a breeding ground for racism? It's about the subtle racism - the questions that are phrased to look innocent but there is underlying racism that the questioner might not even be conscious of. Or even more dangerously, it's about those who are consciously trying to sneak it past our awareness ... so they don't get suspended and so they can subversively influence all the younger or more naive people on here. Those who complain about 'censorship' because of the 'report abuse' feature are also guilty. Tolerating it in the name of freedom of speech is akin to outright supporting it. If there is safety for all the pervs in the world to abuse and exploit via the net, there is also safety for those to further their own racist agenda. So, this question is for those who don't use the 'report abuse' feature. Do you just not care? Is it too much of an effort? Are you racist and enjoy it? Do you think about what ramifications it has for society? Be honest, I can take it

...dealing with behavioral issues with other employees. I can't step in every time and do it for them. How do I encourage them to assert their own authority without them feeling like I've abandoned them?

I don't mind the Simpsons but those other 'shows' annoy the heck out of me and it's difficult to focus on Yahoo Answers when he's watching cartoons in the same room (lol). Seriously, I really loathe those shows and I wonder if that will become an issue when we have kids.

I just posted a q about being tired and i've noticed a lot of people mentioning the thyroid. Can anyone explain how they're related? Thanks in advance.

I sleep well most of the time. I oversleep frequently. I have been awake for about 4 hrs. now, had 3 coffees, done laundry etc. but I am so exhausted I can't think about anything but going back to bed. I work hard during the week and sometimes overwork but that's nothing new. I may have low iron - could that have something to do with it? I generally have low blood pressure but that's also nothing new. Nothing has really changed in my health except this desire for constant sleep.

I have an Amharic phrasebook but I need to know if there is a different dialect specific to areas around Adidhas Abbaba (I may have misspelled that). If I write a letter to someone there in Amharic, will they understand it?
