I need a reliable hd that can be used constantly for up to 6 hours a couple of times a week.

(Its being used as a mp3 library for mobile disco)

The djm 400 mixer only has L&R Rca out which I believe is unbalanced & the speakers have balanced inputs.

I bought a set of leads... rca to xlr which sounded fine.

I noticed on some forums that some other dj`s & musicians use DI boxes to covert unbal to balanced in this situation.

Is there any point in buying one of these boxes, Will I notice a difference ?

Is there any Free/shareware programs out there that can do above ?, Some mp3 files error on my cdj players.

Apparently removing art sovles this problem, I`ve quite an amount of mp3s that need done i`m having problems with, Can i run the program through my whole harddrive?

I`m stuck between the idea of keeping my current setup for a new one but can`t decide.

Size & weight are 2 factors...

I`d prefer to go mass storage hardware players with cd drawers, usb(ie pioneer mep7000, cortex, numark hdmix etc) opposed to software program dependencing. ie traktor,serato,pcdj etc.

Condensing my cd collection to 2 hardrives(fat32) at 320kbps(cbr) per track+back up hd will take some time, but i`ve heard thats the best way if using mp3 files.

I also believe to go for a hd thats at least 7200rpm(min) from 500g up.

Converting my music will cause slight sound loss but mixer eq tweak will compancate that.

I basically want a good system that will fit in a 19" flightcase with mixer for mobiles,

The one i have right now is 2 cdjs & 10"mixer coffin flightcased.

I have been using a set of cdj`s & mixer in coffin style case, I`m looking to upgrade my system without going all PC software (dont trust em).

Maybe back to 19" rack.

I`m considering the size, weight etc + organise & condense my music collection.

Untill I rip all my cds to mp3, I`ll need a media player with cd drawers, My 1st choice of weapon is the Pioneer mep 7000 but I find that a bit pricey(maybe worth paying for in long run) ?.

Any suggestions from any fellow Dj`s ?

It all happened on the same night & nothing had been stolen or sign of disturbance.

We all have different makes & models BUT they all have remote electronic key fob.

I know they work by I.R wave patterns & every car has a different one.

The only thing the neighbours & myself can think is someone is fooling around & have some sort of hacker device that can open the cars.

Either that or the Aliens are coming . . .lol.

Is it save enough for me to reformat the harddrive & install XP which I own a gen copy of . . .

It came with home basic which I`m not to Impressed with + most of my software is bought for XP, (ie Nero, ms office etc + My Dj software is acting up with vista).

I have the vista os & recovery cds if anything goes wrong.

I dont want to get into a nightmare, I sure you will understand.

I`m trying to run a mail shot but keep the recipients private so they only see my add, if I done it by cc then I might upset nearly all as there email add is private & at that point everyones email add would be public.

Any suggestions ?

I bought a flash video file (swf) & it came as a Zipped FLA file -How do i convert it back to SWF, so I can put the swf video on my website.

I have no flash/web experience.

Can anyone help me find a free simple program to convert fla to swf video as my website will only work with .swf

At anytime, More when I`m relaxing or sitting at computer deck.

I`ve never noticed it when i`m standing up.

I feel`s like flutters in muscles across mid centre stomach area( just between L&R rib cage) , And can be itchy & slightly sore to touch skin now and again, But not painfull.

Theres not sign of rash.

I Can sort of feel like an `empty` tummy feel.

Only recently I gave up smoking(2 months ago) after 20yrs & put a bit of weight on( between 1 & 2 stone, it goes up & down) & I would say that`s there I`ve noticed I`m getting these spasms.

It`s a weird feeling to expand but again i would`nt say its painfull just annoying, causing slight discomfort & I happens for seconds at a time , goes away & comes back randomly.

could it just be trapped wind ?

I`m trying to design my own bebo page, using photoshop .

There about 7 different skin sections to design, I have images & graphics i want to merge together in photoshop for sections of my skin but i`m restricted by the skin file size.

example- the first part of the skin is the navigation background

the max file size is - 10kb & can only be a jpeg or gif file, The design i made on ps came to about 65mb (too large a file).

Is it poss to reduce file size on photoshop without compromising the quality of graphic/image ?.

I`m new to using photoshop & self learning how to do things with images , graphics etc - i`m totally getting into it, I`ve spend hours on it messing around but i`ve gave myself this project to design my own web page on bebo.com .
