which is a better card?

Inno3D 9600GT-OC

i know they're good cards but which one is better?

9600gt-oc has 50mhz more of core frequency but lesser stream processor, while 8800gt-oc has 112-stream processor but 50mhz less of core frequency, i heard from logan of tigertv that more stream-processors makes graphics run smoother or something but 9600s are newer cards so im thinking that they might have had slapped newer technologies in there to make it better? and also 9600gt-oc is a few bucks cheaper and is a newer series. so which one is better?

problem is: i saw at the inno3d website that the 8800gt-oc's interface is a PCI-e 2.0, but it also says on the product requirement that it will work with a "PCI-Express compliant motherboard with full size expansion slot" and i'm not sure what version of PCI-e is on that Asus M2N SLi mobo. Is it still safe to buy those two? (8800gt-oc & asus m2n sLi) would it slow down the 8800gt-oc's performance if i didn't use PCI-e 2.0 with it. i really got confused and if someone could just explain this PCI-e 2.0 thanks in advance!

my hard drive had been corrupted, it doesn't want to boot and every time i try to repair the windows w/ the windows cd, i get setupdd.sys could not be loaded, so i hooked it up on my other computer and slaved it and its still not recognized and my computer even hangs-up... is there anyway i can recover my files without going to an expensive specialist? these files are really important wish someone could give me step-by-step instructions on how to. thanks in advance!

it's really annoying, do you guys have any idea how i can remove this? i tried scanning it with antiVirus but it still can't find it. i really hope someone could help me about this problem. thanks in advance!

im looking to buy a new video card, i keep having problems w/ my Inno3d 8500GT, i keep having BSOD(stop error) so im replacing it with im not sure:

ATI Radeon 1650 or Palit NVidia 8500GT-Super

they both have 512mb VRAM and their specs are close, i wanna make sure i wont get anymore BSOD cuz i gotta focus on work (and games). anyways, if i buy the 1650, the guy at the store keeps telling me that 1650s are phasing out and old and i kind of dont trust him but im doubting 8500GT-Super cuz it's NVidia and it im afraid it might only give me endless BSODs, i've never had a problem w/ ATI video cards and drivers before so now im really confuse on w/c one to get. help anyone?

hi there, i have an Asrock K8Upgrade-NF3 with AMD sempron 2800+ installed, everything was working fine until i-reboot my pc to reconnect my internal card-reader to the usb headers on the motherboard, when i tried opening again, i only get CHECKSUM BAD error, it tells me to load bios default or enter setup up but everytime i hit the keyboard to do those task, nothing happens, i tried to clear the cmos with the jumper but nothing still happens it only get stucked to that part.. need help, i gotta finish some work...

i have a compaq presario 2100 laptop and i bought a Linksys WPC54G v.3 wireless adapter, i was wondering why can't i get any signal 180ft away from my router but my friends do? someone told me to get a booster or something but do you think there is just some kind of configuration i need to tweak to get a signal?
