how to create a dual boot pc with win-xp preloaded and vista to be loaded?
i know that for this i will have to create a new partition first then load vista in the new partition then edit the boot menu but my problem is that i have norton partition magic's portable edition and whenever i try to create a new partition it reboots my computer and then nothing happenes. but i go to a dos program paired with it which says it will apply the changes and then an error message comes that this program is trying to directly access the hard disk which can't be supported. and i am stuck. plz help me out!
my cpu is p4 3.06 ghz and i have winxp media centre edition 05. plz tell me if i will need updated drivers to run vista on my computer
