We know that as embryos and fetuses we have the same genetic blueprint and only the x and y chromosome determines if we keep developing as males or females. So I am wondering, if the female ovaries are equivalent of the male testicles ovaries, the female clitoris equivalent the male penis, what is the equivalent of the uterus in the male body? Anyone knows that for sure?

I am a German citizen who is being given one heck of a time by the German Authorities to get my American Divorce accepted to obtain a certificate of non-impediment to marry again in Egypt. I've had it with my home country since a long time now and their double-faced rules, and considering abolishing my Citizenship and obtaining the Egyptian Citizenship! But how can this be done? What are the requirements to become Egyptian Citizen if a) not married to an Egyptian, and b) none of the parents were Egyptian either?

I am German, and married my US husband in the USA and lived until last year there. Since 10 months now the kids and me are living in Egypt, and I want to file for divorce from their father, as he's financially not supporting us and a few other economical reasons (not to mention that I've had it with that emotional and verbal abuse). So I have been told that due to the fact that me and kids have not been living the past 6 months in the USA, that we don't have any more jurisdiction to file in our home state. But if filing and getting a divorce granted in Egypt, I wonder if that would be also legally binding by US law, as the requirements to 'serve the notice of intent' is here not like it is in the States. I try to ask a lawyer in the US, and all they said we are no longer in the jurisdiction, so I should file here in Egypt. Anyone got some background on what's the deal with that if it would be legally binding by US law then?

In some countries you need to bring a Certificate of Non-Impediment, meaning something that states that you're not married and are free to get married. Does the US not require such a Certificate before having a German (single) person marry a divorced (proved with final divorce degree) American person? I mean, is a marriage without a Certificate of Non-Impediment still a valid marriage or would the German then still be considered to be single??? I hope my question makes sense to anybody who can answer this!

I am living since 10 months in Hurghada, and my building doesn't have a street address with it, as it is very common in many areas throughout Egypt. So if I now have to get mail, how will this have to get addressed? Is there an option to get mail delivered to the closest post office here so I can just go and pick it up from there? What needs to be written on the envelope (next to my name) to make sure it will arrive from the USA to my post office here in Hurghada?

Ok, here's the point. Husband started to keep looking at my buddy list when I am online (walking behind me, looking over my shoulder etc.), and I've found out many times that he's trying to memorize the yahoo id's of my buddies if he likes their display images. (And in turn trying to hit them up then).

I know I can assign nicknames to my friends, but I can not suppress their display images on my buddy list. I know I can do that inside an open conversation window...but haven't figured a way to make them 'disappear' on the buddy list.

Any ideas how to do that?

I need to get my kids passports to travel abroad, but both parents signatures are required. Since my husband is out of country, he obviously isn't able to come with me then. I've been told that a court order to issue passport for the kids could be obtained, but I don't know which steps I have to take for that and which type of forms to file at which kind of court. Called the Municipal court, but they couldn't help, except telling me they don't do that kind of stuff there. Any ideas?

Just looked over the Phone In Feature, as we were interested in having our Messenger/PC have it's very own number. But in the legal agreement is said in the contract portion: "to pay for and receive Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP) premium inbound calls."

So, does that mean that my monthly fee is only for the number, but that I will still have to pay for each incoming call? I thought usually the person who calls will have to pay for the call, not the person who gets the call?

Anyone here a clue or can refer me to a place on Yahoo! where I can contact the YC people to get an answer to that specific question?
