  • I set up my yahoo account years and years ago. I’m now divorced so want the sending name to be my new name, it won’t let me do it!?

As I’ve said above. I’ve gone onto settings, account name etc but I don’t have the box you click to change the outgoing name, it flashes and goes straight to the signature option.

I’ve tried on several devices and it still won’t do it. Anyone else had this issue? Getting hold of someone to talk to at yahoo is impossible!

  • I have a lump by my tongue bar and stinging at the end of my tongue - why?

I had my tongue pierced 7 months ago and just recently it has started stinging on the tip of my tongue (almost like a wasp sting) it really hurts when I eat things like chocolate and also when I talk.

Also there is a slight lump underneath my tongue next to the piercing.

    I keep it very clean.

I don't smoke and rarely drink alcohol, has anyone had this experience before? I don't want to remove the piercing as I do love it - thanks in advance.

  • Cheshire primary school under threat of closure?

Last Wednesday (24th June 2008) we were told that the Cheshire County Council were proposing to close our local primary school and turn it into a place for vocational studies for 14 - 19 year olds.

It's a long story but one of the reasons they have proposed this is falling pupil numbers (figures taken from an age ago!!) but our school is right in the middle of a community and to take it away would rip us all apart!

The children would lose friendships as they would not all be able to transfer to the same school, 80% of us walk to school, but taking the school away would force more to drive and some to walk a long distance.

We have a petition and held a singing protest for the children on the day the council held their 1st drop in session.

Behind the scenes we are working really hard, but I was wondering if anyone has been in the same situation and won? What did you do? How did you do it? Any advice would be great, no silly answers please, this is about childrens futures!!

  • What clothing to wear through airport security?

Im travelling to the USA from the UK in the next couple of weeks and have just read the TSA guidelines on appropriate clothing to wear.....it says try not to wear any metal etc, which is fine as i can take my wedding ring off etc, but the trouble is the clothes i had already decided on are a pair of combat trousers (with a metal button and 3 zips on) and it advises not to wear underwired bras!

Surely i can still wear these things, i know i will probably set the alarm off....but then what?

I know this sounds a really stupid question, but im travelling with my husband and 2 children and the last time i went abroad (before 9/11) it was so different so i guess im just fretting!

Also what is security like in the USA? i just want to know what to expect!

    Thanks in advance!

  • Being Christened twice?

My 10 year old son was christened as a baby, his birth father later left and has no contact (by his choice)

My husband has now adopted my son, and my son has taken his surname (we have been together 8 and a half years)

I want to know if i can have him christened again as he now has a new family and the original God parents are a waste of time.

Its not a novelty thing, i want this for my son as i feel it important to him to be welcomed into the church with his new surname, so would be grateful to know if you can be christened twice? Thanks.
