How do I keep yahoo from keeping me signed in?
Unchecking the box every time I sign in is a pain. I don't WANT to stay signed in - it can jeopardize my security.
1 AnswerPassword and Sign In6 years agoWhy does my search feature in Yahoo Mail only go back a few days?
I have two Yahoo accounts, and I use the search feature frequently - like if I'm looking for stuff I bought from Amazon.com, I type Amazon in the search bar, and any email that has the word "Amazon" in it comes up. But in the past week or so, that search feature only goes back a few days. BUT when I sign in to my other Yahoo account, the search feature works fine, going back to as far as I have emails. Is there some filter that I accidentally hit that keeps my search from scanning all my emails?

Naturally, I would think an inkjet printer would be the way to go. Does any company make a Vista-compatible black-only printer these days?
2 AnswersPrinters1 decade agoUsing Internet Explorer 7.0 - I use a website that has links that open up into a new window....?
...and a Quicktime video comes up... I'm using a lap top that I've had for almost a year, but haven't used online much... anyway, when I click on the link, a new window opens, and the video begins to play.... but the original window also changes to the video, so they are BOTH playing, at the same time. How can I change it so that the new window opens and plays the video, but the original window stays on the page where the original link was selected?

Is it appropriate to personalize the letter by addressing it to the interviewer, and cite specific performance examples relative to the job she's interviewing for? Or should it be a more "generic" letter, as in "To whom it may concern,"... and cite generalities about the person?

8 AnswersMathematics1 decade agoCollege Football Rules Question?
OK, I am sitting here watching Michigan / Michigan State.... Michigan's receiver went up for a pass, and came down right at the goal line - his leg grazed & knocked over the pylon at the goal line, but no part of his body came down "in bounds" - and the ref called him "out of bounds" - incomplete pass.
The play got reviewed, and they said it was a touchdown! So - my question is - is the end zone pylon considered to be "the ground"? This doesn't seem right to me, if it is...
Please cite me the rule that I can see online for myself.

1 AnswerPolitics1 decade agoCanon 40D Mirror Lock - While in live view, all I see are instructions as to how to manually focus,...........
... or to use a custom function to focus. But, with the camera on a tripod, if you have the live view off, press down part way on the shutter release (to autofocus), and then activate the live view, wouldn't the autofocus still be set from when live view was off? Therefore, no need to manually focus or use a custom function while in live view? This is, of course, presuming that the picture subject is not moving...

5 AnswersPhotography1 decade agoThis is a difficult question to explain - dual images / 3-D.....?
You've held, for instance, a postcard with a picture on it - when you tilt the card, a different image appears. The material is typically plastic, with very fine grooves in it. Scientifically, it may be a principal of polarization - but I want to have some of these made, using my own pictures. WHAT is this process or product called, so I can search for it?

2 AnswersInternet1 decade agoWe all know the earth & sun are moving. Is there anything in the universe that is considered to be NOT moving?
What I'm trying to find out - if there IS a universally recognized "stationary" object in the universe, then how fast is the earth travelling, compared to that object? If this stationary object does NOT exist, then how fast are we travelling? Consider the distance the earth travels around the sun in one year and divide by the number of hours per year? and then consider how fast the sun moves??.... and how fast the milky way moves???
