Is there anything I can do with expired soy milk besides dump it down the drain?
I have a number of boxes and the expiration date is Jul 2011. The soy milk is packaged in aseptic packs / boxes that have not been opened. I suppose there is a chance it is still OK, but I don't need or want the soy milk, yet don't feel right dumping it all down the drain. I should have tried harder to give it away before it expired, as I don't think a food pantry can accept expired goods... and trying to Freecycle an expired food item does not seem like a good idea. Is there anything I can do at this point, short of dumping it all out?
3 AnswersOther - Food & Drink10 years agoDid all of the actors and actresses do their own singing for last night's "musical" "Grey's Anatomy" episode?
I'm pretty sure some or most of them did, but was uncertain about a few. How can I find out if any of them had professional singers' voices dubbed in, and the actors were just lip-synching?
1 AnswerDrama1 decade agoI'm looking for a program/app to catalog my personal book library (see description for requirements).?
Can you recommend something? I need it to:
--Be free or inexpensive (and if paid, I'll pay only once, I don't want monthly/annual fees)
--Work in a Windows OS (or be OS-independent)
--Support input of books via scanning their barcode with a webcam
--Interface with Amazon.com, etc., to populate data fields
--Allow for customizable fields
--Allow export of data in various formats (spreadsheet/csv etc.)
[--Allow cloud storage/access from anywhere (like in Google Docs or something similar). The software itself does not need to be web-based (in fact, I'd rather it weren't), but I'd like to be able to access the data from anywhere (this is pretty much a given if the previous requirement is met, since I can store a .csv or .pdf in Google Docs)]
And if that isn't asking too much, it'd be nice to have the option of creating more than one library, for example, if I decide to catalog our DVDs after I'm done with my books :)
Any recommendations would be helpful, and the one that meets the most of my criteria is the favorite!!! Thanks for reading my long list of specifications ;)
3 AnswersSoftware1 decade agoI'm about to turn 30 and want to do something special for my birthday. Any suggestions?
I'd like plan something fun or exciting to do (the weekend before my b-day, since it falls on a Monday) that I can look forward to. (Having something fun to look forward to will keep my focus on CELEBRATING this milestone, and not feeling like "AAAH! I'M GOING TO BE OLD!") But, I'm not coming up with any good ideas. Does anyone have any suggestions? What did you do when you turned thirty, or what would you like to do when you turn thirty? (Note: I'm not into binge drinking, and do not care to go skydiving/bungee jumping or the like.)
5 AnswersOther - Society & Culture1 decade agoCan food storage bags be recycled with other plastic grogery bags?
The grocery stores in my area accept plastic shopping bags for recycling, and I am wondering if I can add other types of (clean!) thin plastic (such as Ziploc bags, sandwich baggies, shrink-wrap packaging, etc.) for recycling as well.
2 AnswersOther - Home & Garden1 decade agoWhere can I find the credits for voice-overs in commercials, etc.?
Is there a voice-over directory/database out there (similar to IMDB) that is searchable by artist/performer as well as end-product? For example: "Who did the voice-over in the commercial for [name of product]? OR "What voice-overs has [name of artist/performer/personality] done?
