  • Why do half of my answers get an error?

    When I answer a question on YA, about 50% of the time when I type in my answer and hit "Submit" I get an error. What is going on? I'm a Top Contributor and am about ready to leave YA for good.

    I can understand if a question is marked deleted. But I'm just getting error messages from YA that the question is not available.

  • Do I have nice guy sydrome?

    I'm 41 and dating women I meet on a dating website. The website allows me to pick women with whom I have more in common. I'm a nice looking guy, fit, very stable, polite, can speak and write well, and have good conversations. I'm an office professional, have a stable job, and my own house.

    I hug them when the date begins and ends, as a friendly gesture. I don't kiss on the first date or hold hands, as I don't want to rush things. On the second date I might hold hands, maybe a quick kiss on the lips.

    I have no problem getting first dates with women, but it rarely goes beyond 2 dates. Why is that?

    Are women just not attracted to nice guys?

    Do I have to be a jerk to get another date?

    Why would women act crazy like that?

    I admit when I was in high school when I acted like a jerk I got more dates. Are women my age still that immature?

  • Where can I get a good CD rate?

    I'm looking to invest $4000 in a CD or any savings account (not an IRA) for no more than 18 months. My credit union currently offers:

    10 month CD: 0.85%

    17 month CD: 1.17%

    Can anyone beat these rates? Thanks.

  • Where can I get a box for my car trunk?

    I would like to organize the junk in the trunk of my car. My last box was a plastic Rubbermaid box, but it breaks easily, especially when frozen. I live in Michigan so trunk temperatures can run from 110F to -10F, so the box needs to be tough.

    Any box on Amazon, Ebay, or a local store (Target, Meijer, Walmart, etc) would be great, but it MUST survive high and freezing temperatures.
