  • Why can't I connect to an Internet browser after installing Windows Vista?

I installed Vista on one drive of my computer and have XP on another drive. I have an ADSL wireless router connected to my computer and can connect to the Internet on XP on the same computer with ease. When I switch to the Vista drive by changing the settings in BIOS, I can connect to the Internet, but not to a browser. I have IE and Firefox. My Vista drive is SATA and my XP drive is SCSI. My router is Vista compatible, so that's not the problem. I've looked for new drivers and everything seems to be fine. I've downloaded and installed all the Vista upgrades. I can connect to the Internet through Skype (sort of) but not through Internet Explorer or Firefox. Everything else on Vista works fine except that in Vista, the XP SCSI drive is not recognized, but on XP, the SATA drive is recognized. I can transfer files from XP to Vista, but not from Vista to XP. Vista gives my computer a 4.7 rating. What am I overlooking?
