I'm Tabitha - 21, and a first time mom. My son just turned 2 months and is the apple of my eye! I'm getting married in October to the love of my life and couldn't be happier. I'm also graduating from x-ray school July 26th, and have worked so hard for it! You could say that my life is currently where it should be, all my stars have aligned!
How long should I wait to test?
I typically start my periods either the 1st or 2nd of every month... never later than that. I've been sick this week - and my son has been very sick, so I'm wondering if the stress is a possibility in throwing off my cycle.
I've taken 2 urine tests and had a blood test done at work, but all came back negative. I'm thinking it's too early to show. So I'm wondering how long should I wait before I test again?
We aren't ready for another little one - but if it happens, it is what it is and I will be excited. My son is only 9 months old, so that's less of an age gap than we wanted...
Thanks in advance!!!
4 AnswersPregnancy1 decade agoWould you have your ovary removed with my history?
I'm a 21 yo with a history of right ovarian cysts. I've had 2 laproscopic surgeries, a D&C, hysterosalpingogram and my cervix lasered. My cysts started in 2006, first surgery was in June of that year. A 7cm cyst removed off right ovary, and a cyst removed from my left tube. My reproductive system was checked to make sure I was capable of having children, and my fiance and I found out we were expecting our son in September (this test can make you extremely fertile after, obviously!). Since my son I've had a rough time with cysts every month, horrible pain always on my right side. Had my 2nd surger in Aug. 07, removed a cyst of the right ovary again...
I wish I'd had the right ovary removed that 2nd surgery - but I didn't and now I'm just worried that if I do have it removed the cysts will start on the left. I'm scared I'll need a hysterectomy at such a young age and not be able to have more children but I have my miracle child... what would you do? Any advice would be helpful.
