  • Identifying Windows XP system files?

Does anybody knows of a secure website where I can check if some files in my windows system files are legit?...and not placed there by a hacker?

How do I know if a file (with or no extension) is a legitimate window xp system file?

I have run several scans in my pc with different antivirus/adware/spyware programs and they found potential low risk files. However, when I went to delete or quarantine those files the program warns me of a posible OS failure if I delete them? I also did a search on different search sites but couldn't find enough info about my concerns.

    OS: XP home edition

    files found: c:\windows\uniq and keyboard21.dat

Thank you very much for your help

  • Is it true that a 220V Air Conditioner uses less electricity than 100V?

Asking about those airconditioners you buy at sears or homedepot....not central air cond units. Not sure if i am asking this question in the correct category but i need answers! need to buy me an air cond unit for my 12' X 10' home office and was suggested by our electrician to purchase a 220 and not a unit you can plug in a 110 outlet? do this make any sense? 220 AC's are far more expensive! All help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

  • Are farm raised chicken eggs more nutritional than the eggs of a chicken feed with just Purina?

Farm raised chickens eat grass, fresh corn and all those goodies they can find while free ranged out in the fields...and I was asking myself... Do those (*plastic) eggs sold at grocery stores have the same nutritional value as the ones farm raised?

*plastic eggs = eggs produced from a chicken that were forced to adulthood in 30 days with the help of commercial feeding products full with vitamins and hormones. Yeahh... like those said "fresh chickens" sold at supermarkets.

  • Can Iguanas eat baby chickens?

I have been noticing my chicks are dissapearing and that "something" is hunting them. Whatever it is, I know this animal runs very fast as I see my chicks running tours me whenever that 'it' start chasing them. I was told by neighbors they saw a very large wild Iguana hanging around in their farms. And I'm wondering...do wild Iguanas eat baby chickens? if so, can they also attack my baby ducks?
