I recently purchased a 2nd CAD U37 USB condenser microphone because I left my first one in Australia. I never had any problems with the first one quality wise but this one picks up a grainy noise affect. I am in a completely closed off and silent room but it still picks up a faint grainy sounding noise, like something you would hear on a scrambled TV channel.

Is there a way to fix this, I never had this problem on my first microphone? Just plug and go.

I currently operate on a MacBook Pro 13inch using GarageBand.

For the longest time I thought atomic bombs were dropped and exploded on impact with the ground, building, etc. But after reading about Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the bombs were dropped ABOVE the city. Why is this? Wouldn't it be greater impact to detonate on impact than miles above?

I have a friend of mine getting married and he is extremely anti-government. Which is funny since he getting married and all. I am looking for something to get them other than their registry with a department store. Something that is different but hilarious along the lines of him being so against the government. I am an Australian Resident for taxation purposes (from the US but here working). I made $22k last year through payroll employers and then an additional $3641 on ABN. Do I pay the "$.15 for every $1 above $6,000" off the TOTAL taxable income or just off my ABN amount (which would then mean I don't pay the $.15?) Just trying to get an accurate reading for filing. I have been studying abroad in Australia for the past 2 years now and have been covered for insurance as a student. Now that I have finished though, I no longer have that insurance and I cannot apply for Australian insurance since I am not a resident. Can I apply for US travel insurance even though I am out of the country and technically 'already traveling'?

I travel a lot and am looking for a blog site that allows me to have one main home page, but links to direct readers to my individual blogs relating to whatever country I am in. Also allowing me to post multimedia (pics and video and gadgets). The only two I know of are Blogger and Wordpress. Any word on these and are there any others that may be better? Thanks in advance.

I recently used pwnage tool to upgrade my Jailbroken iPhone to 4.3.3 since it was having problems on the older software. However after it finished, it also updated my baseband to 3.10.01. I have saved SHSHs on my computer so is there a way to downgrade the BB or is it permanent? I know I can revert back to old iTunes versions but am not sure about the basebands. Cheers.

I write and record music as a hobby, but I want to be able to post it somewhere for other music fans to listen and critique so I can get better. Mainly RnB, hip hop and some rap.

The gym I work out at automatically debits the dues from account. Easier for me as I don't have to always remind myself to pay and I don't have to worry about it. I received a phone call today from another branch in a different town stating one of their members has been paying into MY account the last three months and therefore the gym has not been deducting fees from my account.

Needless to say, the gym now wants me to backpay the three months for the error on their part for not clarifying that the gentleman paid into the wrong account. Do I have to reimburse the gym even if they charged the wrong account for the past three months?

I am currently studying at uni as an international student on a student visa. The visa allows me to work 20 hours a week. I recently started working for a company and they told me I needed an ABN, so I applied for one. I did not sign any contract with the company and they have on many occasions tried to get me to work over the 20 hours a week. I just received my paycheck and there wasn't any holiday pay for having to work boxing day.

Working on an ABN, do I not receive holiday pay? How do taxes and super work? Sorry for sounding uneducated but I don't know much about ABN work so any information or links would be GREATLY appreciated. I am contemplating quitting this job ASAP as it is all starting to sound extremely dodgy and I only have it to make some income to go out and travel and such.

Everytime I plug in my external hard drive, my computer tells me I need to scan and fix it. If I scan and fix, will it delete all the info off of my hard drive? I have a ton of work projects on it that I cannot afford to lose. Thanks in advance.

This sounds like a really stupid question, but I can't find answer. We have 15 player teams and I am being offered 3 players for 2 of mine. What happens to that 3rd player that puts me over the limit and at 16 players on my team?

Every now and then my car won't start. It's not every time but sporadic. It begins to click over and I see the dashboard lights light up but then it just dies. Kind of like a dome light has been left on all night, but there hasn't been. When I pull the key out of the ignition with the door closed, I hear a clicking sound. When I open the door, the sound goes away. When I jumpstart the battery, the car works fine and I can even turn it on and off a few times and sometimes for a few days without any problems. I took the car to Les Schwab to test the battery since I bought it through them in January and they said the battery is fine. Any ideas what it could be? 2005 kia spectra hatchback with 60,000 miles. No major work on it since i bought it.

10 teams, 16 rounds, RBs are always up for grabs within the first few rounds, not to mention in previous years I have hurt to secure good RBs. Same with WRs, but a lot more to work with in regards to depth. Kicker and defense I am obviously not worried about and only one QB as I can pick up another for bye week replacement (but grabbing a 2nd anyway towards the end to fill a spot). I feel i am either too worried about QB or not worried enough about RB... Thoughts?

I am going to be in Australia for 2 years and plan on traveling around and whatnot. I want a blog site that I can continually update, even from my iPhone, upload pics, vids, etc. Something easy to use and navigate. I don't want someone getting lost or confused and giving up. I'm willing to pay monthly for the service. Maybe even link services from Twitter and Facebook? Just some criteria, not picky or anything.
