  • RCA 169PT Experienced Techs Only!!!!?

    this projector doesnt work any more. i saw that the 200v 820uF cap was streched on the top (the plastic wasnt on top, it was pulled back,) giving me an idea that it is probley the reason the tv isnt working, when you press the power button the tv makes the normal whine sound. but no picture, i noticed the stand by voltage looks normal. and when the tv power button is pressed it jumps then falls on the oscillator. it kinda spikes like this

    Jumps then falls so somthing is making it turn off. not fun at all

    i havent replaced cr4118 yet but i probley should because i hear so much about it being bad after 10 years, recalled part im guessing, and that it probley could cause the issue. but its stand by voltage looks nominal at 5v it a 15v run rectifier

    havent checked it when i try the stand by spike. anyway is it normal for a cap to get a noplastic top?

  • I need some help with my receiver!?

    'my kenwood reciever mdl Eleven GX killed a resistor, 2 of em. and i cant read the color value and i dont know were to get the service information, all i can see is Red Black Gray Gold, but I'm not positive on it. and r34 looks really white telling me its gonna burn soon. i was wondering if any one actually has a Eleven G or GX and if i can get a picture of area around capacitors (you will know the ones i'm talking about if you have this receiver, the 71v 12000uF duals. anyway any help will be greatly aprichiated.

  • My Powerbook 145B doesnt book up! -Macintosh System 7.5?

  • I have been thinking, should i Buy a Powermac G3 BW or a Powermac G4 sawtooth AGP.?

    I have an iMac Trayloader. if i get an G3 BW what type of ULTRA ATA card can i put in it, i am looking at using an 80Gig WD800JB ATA 100 if that helps. TY
