  • Problem on Ubuntu 8.04 or Gwenview.?

    I have done something,but I don't know what... please help!!

    I have lots of files called xxx.jpg I used to click on them and they would open with gwenview and be displayed fine.

    Now if I click on them gwenview opens but All I get is a grey screen where the image SHOULD be.

    If I rename the file to (for example) xxx.jp and open it the image is there!!!!

    By the way, if I open a file aaa.jp with gwenview and then save it as bbb.jpg and then try to open it again with gwenview it doesn't work (grey screen)???!

    How do I fix this, please help.

    I have an ACER 5338 and I am trying to install XP on it (in place of Vista) but it goes so far then BSOD. I have tried with the disk set to IDE and AHCI both blue screen -help!! Please, I am confused
