Right or left open to change?
If Conservatives believe in the founding fathers ideas, then no changes in government would have preserved those ideas. So they have had to give in on beliefs or principles to allow change. Liberals demand change for the changing times or just their personal beliefs. Liberals never seem to be willing to meet in the middle. The middle always appears to be just a step, then they bring it up again and again there is a meeting in the middle. But now the middle is 3/4 of the way. So it appears the right is the one that gives ground and the left keeps pushing for more ground. So the right must be more open to change tan the left.
