  • Where to find a laptop with haswell i7, mSATA, sata, hi-res screen?

    I am hoping someone here can help me pick a laptop that has the following characteristics:

    1. has an mSATA port

    2. has a 2.5 inch hard drive slot

    3. has an i7 haswell CPU

    4. 10-14.5 inch screen size

    6. at least 1920x1080 screen resolution

    I've searched high and low and cannot find anything that fist those requirements. Anyone?

    I do *NOT* care about price, just the feature set.

  • help me find an i5/i7 1440x900 8hrs+ battery life laptop?

    I am looking to pick a laptop to replace my aging Lenovo t400. I was hoping for some advice. I've spent days trawling the internet for an answer, with no results.

    I want:

    - at least 900 vertical pixels of resolution

    - modern i5 or i7

    - 8hrs+ battery on wifi (at least browsing the web)

    - screen that does not such (viewing angles on some laptops are atrocious)

    Preferably if your answer is of the form: "I *have* laptop model _____ and it fits your requirements, buy one here: _____", i will be thankful forever.
